This week, the Carson Center for Global Engagement has partnered with Chapel to present Beyond Borders Missions Week to you.
Doug grew up in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada, and is married to Deanna. They have 3 blonde-haired, blue-eyed daughters: Maddy, Keza, and Avery. Doug has worked in Africa since 2003 and lived in Burundi for 11 years. From 2009 to 2013, Doug was part of the pastoral team at Cornerstone Community Church (MB - Virgil, ON) as Associate Pastor (worship and missions). Currently, he serves as the Regional Team Leader for SubSaharan Africa with Multiply, the mission board of the Mennonite Brethren Church of North America.
Doug is committed to seeing the Bride of Christ beautified and on mission and to being part of God’s kingdom coming. He loves singing, squash (especially the sport), slacklining, cliff jumping, and, well, adventure in general.
