@@interalf6730 fair enough, not to mention that his rage makes him temporarily immune to everything, and his ice arena can be difficult to maneuver around, and stuff, however i can see why Landfall went through with the changes, deciding to change him from a weaker variant of The King, to a force to be reckoned with, plus the bumping up on prices, making him the same as the king, as you mentioned.

jarl is meant for groups, he has lower health than king and has an aoe attack + is faster so yea king is going to win in a 1v1 but king can lose to captain (same price as king) in a 1v1 or hwatcha (also same price) as they are more meant for 1v1s

He doesn't take damage while enraged. That damage would normally have been enough to kill him. Berserkers can also survive a Hwacha in much the same way as they don't take damage for a short time after they jump.

@@Yougotcaged102 nah it was a super boxer's falcon punch attack. With this attack, he charges aside, so he's not effective on narrow maps like Medieval 1. On a wide map, super boxer defeats the jarl 100% of the time. Also super boxer only costs 10,000 now

I have the worst time with the new jarl and I cannot find a weakness other than a ballista. He hits hard, he goes enraged, he does multi target with the ice arena now, and sometimes tabs only wants to be a battle simulator instead of a totally accurate one and he suddenly lunges forth 50 feet forward to where my ballista is >:(

@bruno youtube Painter is capable of melee. It's not very good at it but it still is. Plus the painter is able to dodge almost every single ranged unit, allowing you to delay the enemies ranged units for a while. The bard couldn't do this then, and it probably can't do it now.

Just for reference, how does the Jarl's rage ability work exactly? In terms of how it effects his health? Does it make him invulnerable? Give him some sort of regeneration?

Well what we do know is that it makes him faster and attack faster as well. I think it also makes him take less damage because when he falls in the water with the enraged ability he seems to last longer than normal. I think he's actually almost invulnerable when he is enraged but who knows.

@@Michaelboi319 Well typically you aren't facing against a large percentage of ranged units and if you were then the Jarl is like not going to be your first pick (mostly because he's so expensive) and even if you do pick the Jarl for that type of situation just get a couple of units to distract the enemy units from the Jarl for a while And anyways my point is, this wasn't just a buff, this was an upgrade
