I've only dabbled with the underspire. It didn't seem to have enough bang for the buck. The elite tier orbs sounds promising. There's another path to elite levels. Explore gives loads of loot as well as medallions. Medallions eventually add up and adding souls can unlock those elite levels. The no cost to explore and the additional loot seems more valuable overall. Or am I missing how lucrative the underspire can be?

Explore is still very good for most token upgrades, but for mythics and legends orbs of glory are far quicker upgrades. This is mostly due to how long higher level tokens take to obtain from explore. Can take dozens of hours of explore 12 to max 1 mythic, whereas a couple hours during a week of underspire can max a mythic.

If you reset the kingdom when picking a weapon you can use any weapon lol

Assumed that was a bug that would be fixed soon, but hasn't been yet.
