Yes you can tell you have been helped to think outside of the box, to have critical thinking, mind over matter and to stay above your emotions feelings, such maturity.. Nala is just the most gorgeous girl as you are and your horses i love to see the English countryside Cornwall is gorgeous.. We have incredible blue skies in France cold crispy and not a single cloud quite incredible, where i live no bridleways but very raw pure countryside, rolling hills, lakes and private estates and acres of land to roam across.. Gers most underpopulated part of France.. Yes do more hacks so good for the soul .. Thank you xx

I remember my stepmum used to ride out with her old mare and our old English Springer (Matty) to get him away from the crazy pups (2 new rescues). He loved it, her old mare loved it and sometimes I'd be running and bump into them and get a ride home 🥰 the memories keep flowing back😍😢😍😍

You are living the dream Em! You’ve trained Nala so well!! My dog would be gone or stuck behind sniffing something. I used to be able to hack through the woods behind my barn, but it’s been turned into a logging operation, so unfortunately the only hacking I have is on the road which is not ideal. You’re very lucky!!

This was lovely, I very much enjoyed it! From my stables I ride to the beach. From the stable driveway to the sand it’s all on the street. It’s less than a 15 minute ride to the sand. Then we go up and down the beach trotting and cantering a couple times. The first few times I went my boyfriend drove the car along with us and then walked out on the beach with us too. But after a few times him escorting us lol I was brave enough to go solo. So now, weather permitting, I go every Sunday. It’s so nice for my horse and for me too! We go early, and I always try to take a sunrise picture sitting behind his ears. ☺️

Amazing vlog. We have no hacking at all straight onto a busy road. The thought of hacking makes me feel sick - I defo need some help from Nicky. You are so brave can’t ever see myself being able to do that! Defo going to enter x

The hacking where I use to keep my ponies was mainly main roads. So I have recently moved to a yard where there 1000 acres of off road hacking. Beauty of having a trailer as well can box up and go other places

Ponies are on 100acres with a national park and pine forest to ride through right out the gate. Very very lucky indeed. Absolutely loved this vlog so so much

I used to go up to Wheal Buller! (Up because I am from even further down Cornwall!) Such lovely memories. I backed out of summer camp at the last minute because was scared, kicking myself now!

Small world! When i moved down to cornwall in 2011 I went to a pony club every week and wheal buller! Devastated its not a riding school anymore!

We have some gorgeous off road hacking in Scotland. My daughters pony definitely prefers to be out hacking than in the school. He just comes alive out on a hack.

I loved this vlog!! Nala and Sprite are so cute together !!! What a fun day of hacking! I have trails near my barn where my mare is kept in California, but I have to trailer out.. so I often just stay on property. I have a full indoor and full outdoor arena so we have plenty of options to ride. So glad you and girls had a jolly day out! Merry Christmas Em! My old yard was near my village with endless countryside hacking with hardly any traffic but now we are more in town but we are lucky in that we have bridleways and redways off the main roads but not many fields ☹️ on the up side we are 10 minutes down the road from the woods which is lush! Id hate having to deal with constant traffic so all in all we are lucky I think but Cornwall looks like a stunning place to have a horse

Thanks for another great vlog. I used to have 2 forestry's & a 250 acre hill country cattle farm with lots of streams to hack out over. Sadly after moving last year I only have roads to ride on now. Granted I can road ride to a little beach/bay about 20mins away, but part of the road is a 100K/h main road so haven't been keen to take either of my 5yr olds on that road lol.

The hacking where I ride is not good - main roads, suburbia, some places for a canter but very short canters. It's sad 😭 But we do have xc, two schools (one 20x60) and a sj arena 🤣

This was a lovely nostalgic video for me 🥰 as I had my first horses in that area 20 years ago and I miss it so much! (I also learnt to ride at Wheal Buller in the early 90’s and spent all of my Saturdays there) I have since moved down to Helston and the hacking is mostly roads sadly, but I am planning on taking my son and the ponies over for a ride on The Great Flat Lode very soon!

I'm in Northern Ireland and unfortunately we have absolutely no off road hacking other than forests etc that will allow riding but those are few and far between. So we just have on road hacking!

Looks beautiful there! Our hacking is amazing, we are really lucky to have rolling moorland and valleys. The only downside is we don’t have any woodland hacking nearby which is a shame as the moors can get very windy but I can’t complain really.

My hacking is really not great we can’t go on the roads because it’s a main road and then we have a small lane to go up but that’s it but we are lucky that we can canter in the fields in the summer
