Hey there. I have an outside holiday projector that pairs with software that maps my house in order to do precise projections on my house. Next year I’d like to be able to place the projector back to the exact location so I don’t have to map the house all over again. Do you think there is a way to use the measure to map where the projector is today and then use the software somehow to know exactly where to outbid again next year?

Hi there, thank you for your question! There are a number of ways you can achieve this. You have the option to Layout from an existing measurement, using Layout mode (exclusive to Moasure 2 PRO) which can guide you to previously marked points. For example, you can use Moasure to first map out the perimeter of your outdoor area from a designated starting point, and then use the ‘Points’ path type to mark the exact location of your projector within that space. Then, you can ’Start Layout Mode’ from that measurement in the future and you will be guided back to each captured point as it was measured in the first place. Alternatively, you could use the ‘Layers’ function to achieve a similar result using Layout to represent the location of the projector, instead of ‘Points’. Excellent instruction. May I suggest that you make further videos without the music? Even though it is nice music and quiet, it is distracting when concentrating on the directions. Thanks!

Could you put a power switch or one on the app please? Love it but mine keeps shutting off and yes it's charged completely.

Hi Jake, thank you for your comment and suggestion regarding a power switch to wake up/turn off the device. If you'd like to change how long your device is on for, once powered up, go to the Moasure app > Cog > Measuring Options > Measurement Device Disconnection. Here, you can choose between 30 seconds, 1, 2, or 5 minutes depending on your preference. Hopefully this will improve your measuring process!
