I’ve used a similar dolly system only I used preexisting kayak scupper wheels…just modified them with some wood and large dowels. Added half a large pool noodle with plastic washers and deck screws. Slide son and off easily when dry… but! That pool noodle gets a bit grippy when wet and has helped nicely! Plus! The pop noodle was like 2$? Maybe 3$. And I still have extra to Roland it when needed. And use for other modifications where necessary. Diggin the little pong hopper style rig!

Nice job!! I like the idea of using a ratchet strap which would be more secure then a bungee cord unless it's not to far to put in the boat. Stay Safe & God Bless!!!
