Came back in stock and ordered at the end of Jan, and It just arrived. Went with Digitaka per your recommendation. Now the hard part….what line and rod to pair it up with. Like you I am thinking skipping, and even perhaps some pitching and flipping. Perhaps 15 AbrazX on MH rod. Decisions decisions!

Overall, that was a great unboxing. I have the same problem with partial deliveries from tackle warehouse. Sometimes I get items that that are similar to what I’ve ordered because they have run out of the baits I did order. For some strange reason think I want the ones they sent me instead of what I initially ordered. 😮 👏🏿👏🏿🎣

I have had my slx DC since they came out I set my reel where has just a little side to side play and its my spinnerbait/chatter bait reel and still works as good now as the day I got It and yours slx xt DC should be a better reel I think the Shimano will outlast the Lew's but both reels are good reels but I prefer Shimano or daiwa over oem reels but if I'm going oem Lew's is my favorite brand

The US$ to Yen exchange rate is draining my wallet… twice I have attempted to get the New SLX DC XT but, first time opted for the 21’ Zillion ($20 more than DC XT) and last week I couldn’t pass up the 20’ Metanium ($30 more than DC XT). Once I see your review on the DC XT IDC5 controller, I’ll probably make a 3rd attempt to buy one. Probably end up with an Aldebaran or Steeze at this rate. 😂

Based on one of your videos, I bought two of these rods. Okuma Evx Technique Specific Lightweight Graphite Bass Rod- EVX-CB-701MHb. Love em. Bought two more. Now it appears this is a discontinued model. Any ideas where I can get two more? Or what is your pov on another rod similar.

I was pretty upset to see those rods discontinued, but I now crank with the Okuma Guide Select cranking rods. The 7' only comes in a medium which I'm usually not a fan of, but after using it it feels more like a medium heavy to me.

Your comment about how hard it is to get up and fish on your days off definitely hit home. From March through December, I’m up at 3 am six days a week. Trying to get up on Sunday to sneak out and fish can be sooo tough 😂

Great unboxing!!! Deciding between the Lew's Pro SP or the SLX DC?? May wait to see your review then make my decision. Digging those Rapala OG 5 Rocco Squarebills. I get disappointed when my order gets shortened from my order. Just had an experience with Rapid Fishing Solutions. Ordered your combo Christmas package with line threader plus the dropshot keeper but did not receive the dropshot keeper. I like Spyderco knives m390 and 20 cv alot I've never tried rex 45 their m4 knives is good for rough stuff tj do you have or use a kme or wicked edge my kme will put a really keen edge on m390 like you cut yourself badly and never feel it or realize that you cut yourself I'm a big fan of Spyderco knives also I carry a para 3 or pm 2 mostly but have native 5 a manic 2 all mine or g10 handled knives I have a few in s30 v and s35vn both steels are basically the same from what I've seen the hold a good working edge really well but a full blown mirror other steels will hold it a edge a little better but for the price s30v is the best steel just chips easily if you drop it your knife on concrete trust me from experience 😂😂😂
