Hello RobinT, thanks for sharing the video. Out of Curiosity do you know what size of RV the campground sites can accommodate

Some of the sites would only hold small RVs, but many sites will hold big ones. The onlly problem is that you need to get there when a site is open as this is first come only, no reservations. It is sorta hit or miss unless you are patient or arrive mid-week. The whole campground fills up every night, I guess by 3pm. We saw a lot of big rigs circling the campground loop we were in every day, looking for a spot. Also, that last section of road from Cowles up there is narrow and tough to navigate around curves with a big rig so be careful. Our rig is 24' and we had to pull over to the side several times just to let another vehicle by coming the other direction. Its worth it once you get there... but its a little scary at times. Thanks! We are definitely going back up there before they shut down late Oct. We want to backpack 1-2 nights too, such a beautiful area with amazing trails. Can't wait to see your video of your latest adventure up to Stewart and Katherine.
