OH DEAR, Sorry most of them don't work. I used to WORK for TACO BELL in 2000-2001. My manager sewed one of these dogs to my hat and every time a new customer came into the store. I had to play it. Now whenever I hear the song or see the commercial. I cant get the image or song out of my head! I loved the one with the mic. SM

I have the one that says yo quiero Taco bell that I got at the drive thru back in the 90s. The battery is getting weak, but it still works in 2023. I kinda wish I had the whole collection now. It's something cute that we'll probably never see again. They also don't make toys like that anymore that still work anyway 25 years.

My wife has the "I think I'm in Love" dog with the rose in the mouth, "Yo Quiero Taco Bell", "You are getting hungry, very hungry", and "Viva Gorditas". She actually collects Beanies but like these too much to pass on them.

I have all 11 of them, they were out between 1998 & 99. The newer furry ones ("Chances Are", "Growl", "Chalupa" & "Happy New Year Amigos" all still work great. I've squeezed them many times & they're still loud. The "Yo Quiero Taco Bell" & the "I Think I'm In Love" ones still work as well, but all my other ones don't work anymore. The "Here Lizard Lizard" one I didn't get till many years later cause it was super hard to find at the time. I ended up buying on eBay over a decade ago for not much money.

I have every single one except the heart, drop the chalupa, and Gordita. I changed the batteries on the old ones and they still work.

I think I used to have 4 of these dogs. But now I have 2 for sure. One of them wears a white shirt that has his face on it, and he says "How cool is this?". The other came out during the Godzilla promotion. He's holding a sign that says 'Free Tacos'. He used to say 'Here lizard lizard lizard', unfortunately his batteries are now dead. But I still love them!

I remember when I was growing up, I have, I think, 2 talking stuffed animal of "Taco Bell Chihuahua", I think they're hiding in my toy chest. 1 of them I have is the "Chalupa" one and some the "Valentine" Chihuahua. (About the "Valentine" Chihuahua, I mine doesn't growl. (It said something and kissed.)
