I just have to give you a big heart-felt thank you for all you are doing. This last week for the first time in my adult life I felt like I ate healthy and didn’t feel deprived or like I was missing out on any thing. I was full, feeling good, and ready to repeat. I made your blueberry smoothie, green smoothie, hummus, and banana nut butter bites (I put my nut butter into a plastic bag and piped it onto the bananas and felt that was the fastest method.) I've been making homemade taco salad for a long time. It's awesome! When I tell my friends I had taco salad for lunch, they always assume it's the tortilla bowl, fake cheese laden glop. They couldn't be further from the truth. My favorite add-in is part of a tin of organic tri beans - a combination of red kidney beans, black beans, and pinto beans.

Amazing! Due to what I had on hand, I couldn't follow your recipe to the tee, however with the results I have already got - I CANNOT WAIT to make it with the suggested ingredients! And the salsa hasn't even had its 1 hour+ to marry their flavors. (Used " San Marzano Whole canned tomatoes with garlic and red pepper" , drained, a can of jalapeños vs chillies, and a serano pepper vs jalapeño since the canned was already that... plus I love spice so o left the seeds in) Thank you so very much for sharing this delightfully tasty and easy recipe!!

Any leftover onion can be shopped and stored in the freezer. I usually do this even with onions before they get too old. They always turn out perfectly when I need to use them.

we don't use canned tomates in Mexico, the deep flavor comes from grilling the Chile, onions and tomatoes before chopping them and after they're together. And a spoonful of vinegar will help you keep your salsa fresh!
