Would’ve been nice if that little switch was a little longer that way if we want to change our mind, it’s easy to just quickly go to the backseat and just switch it!

Does anyone know if the red leds illuminate as a DRL feature or do they only come on when hitting the brake?

The 3rd brake light does not act as a running light.

Silicon it’s a must,or you could get into a lot of water leaking inside!!

Question....can the wiring for the switch for steady and flash be extended so I can switch between the two from inside the vehicle as needed?

Yes, you should be able to do that.

If anyone is curious, this was perhaps the most frustrating experience of my life installing this. Great light, not their fault. But my god, why did Toyota design it like this

@@yotaxpedition Any advice on a good sealant? I don’t want it to leak. My taco had the brake light pretty damn sealed in-I assume from the recall prior to me owning it-so now I want to seal it pretty tightly

We did not but some around the hole where the wires go wouldn't hurt.
