That aluminum tree was made in Manitowac WI. Home of the aluminum tree. Every year the whole city is full of window displays. The Mirro Company was there and made them. We saw the displays last year. Amazing! Good find!

We had a silver aluminium tree when I was a kid in the 60's. There is nothing quite like the colour and light that refracts off an aluminium Christmas tree. To a kid, it was magical. Three days and not enough video to show us and then BOOM. One stop and it made a whole video on it's own. Great job! ❤🐨

Hey mister, laying that floor jack sideways can cause the hydraulic fluid leak out and then it wont work, its worth more if you spray it with a thick layer of color and black on the wheels and maybe a small but cool little racing parts sticker, than you would get for scrap, probably $50 more! But if course you probably already know all this, right?

Best find you got was the Kirby Vacuum cleaner - you could bring it in to a Kirby dealer to clean it and renew it, since Kirby's are now over a thousand dollars. Did you pickup the oval crystal bowl ? That last house had a real things!

I'm 99.99% sure that key came from the mini fridge you were putting in at the time (not the file cabinet). They often have locks, I had one at my office I locked so other people wouldn't steal stuff.

Damn my mom had an 8 foot aluminum tree we all hated - she put it up every year even when we were adults. After her passing over 20 years ago it was one of the 1st things we threw out. Who knew that ugly tree would be worth so much and her's was the high-end one with the aluminum ornaments build on it. Crap.

Wow, Taco -- all those amazing finds in just one house! The aluminum vintage Xmas tree is a real score. Did you hear me yelling thru the screen, please get the two benches - one dark brown rattan, the 2nd brown with upholstered top. I know you dont get furniture, but benches like that are easily $80-150 online.I would have snagged them in a heartbeat. I believe they would sell well @ the flea market!

Just curious. When you picked up the cap gun it made me think of my childhood. Then I got to thinking about the "caps" us older folks had that were red paper rolls. You could load up one of those rolls and fight the Indians for a while. You could also lay the rolls out and use a rock to pop the caps. Anyways, do they still make those paper rolls or are they all made of little plastic rings? Just curious!

Hated that tree , I think we used it about 2+ yrs ??. Then back to the original green cut tree. AMEN. Now they bring in the bucks! Who knows where ours went, my father was a reiset! Wonder what they could reuse those for? I just know it went to the garage. Good luck with the dollars!

What an awesome stop that was! Im so happy for you. I love that big box. We had a huge old wooden box very heavy we kept wood for our stove in it. Then, when we we didn't have a wood stove anymore, I just wanted to sit it upside down on the porch, but hubs made me get rid of it. Remember you found a bag of characters you thought were Star Wars? I think I saw Scooby-Doo in there. They would probably go with the Mystery Bus? I was hoping that other long box was another silver Christmas tree. My grandma had one. She loved it so much.
