Being someone who was in the military, they are functioning as “paramilitary” organization. It’s a psychological tactic primarily for the ones marching. It is a form of instilling “espirit de corps” which basically means “pride in the unit.” This allows them to function as a unit with a singular purpose and identity.

In my county, we had a work release Jail and every day when I came back from work, I had to get strip searched. The squat and cough isn’t going to make something fall out of your rectum. What the coughing will do if you have something in your rectum that is sharp. It will cut you when you cough. Ain’t nothing falling out no matter what you do. You literally have to poop whatever you put up there.

I think they do the hand thing for the same reason cops cross their arms or hold the collar of their bullet proof vest. It's to have your hands in a defensive position in case someone swings at you. It takes less time to get your hands up then it would if they were down by your waist.

I don’t think anybody wants to go to prison. It’s just that we take chances in life. Now the people that don’t learn after the first time going to prison then that’s foolish but a lot of people do stuff they know is wrong but people want that fast easy money.

The wannabe military vibes of the Tac Squad would be funny if it wasn't so sad. They try so hard to act like they are military with their uniforms, boots, vests, haircuts, marching with cadence and a million other things. It's real easy to act tough when you're dealing with people who by law aren't allowed to fight back!
