I know it sounds kinda dumb, but you may wanna face the antenna towards the ground. I've had squirrels mess with them in the past and break em clean off. Haven't had that problem since I started pointing them down and I still get good signal

Got two XPro….one was junk and Tactacam would not stand behind camera. It’s all marketing skills and zero customer service! Reconyx is the best

I heard a lot of people have had water entering theirs, and ruining them. I use Browning, they have been the most reliable for me. Would like to see a follow up video after this deer season to see how they held up. I've had several brands and run about 25 cameras a season, and Browning has been the only one that hasn't crapped out, even after 10 years! Yes my oldest browning cams are that old, only shoot B&W.

I have the same camera with solar panel batteries are still at 100 % after more than 500 photos and 6 wks good pictures I did put a master cable padlock on it you might want to check out

No, putting a solar panel on mine was a big mistake. I’ve complained about buying batteries three different times this fall. I am hoping the wife caught on and will have me one for Christmas.😂

Hi i I am using this trail cam for easy security but having a hard time setting it up I was assuming it would sense motion and take pictures and videos while I worked around there all day yesterday and not one picture or video taken. I wonder if I’m in a different mode? Hellllllp Lol

Great marketing skills, however customer service is beyond pathetic! XPro 3 weeks old Tactacam won’t even replace or supply prepaid shipping…..unbelievable experience with Tactacam. There made in china so the quality is roll the dice and if you have a problem your on your own

Coming from someone who loves their Tactacams, this model.. the X-Pro is a sales gimmick. Look up the specs on their cams and this camera has less megapixels, slower speeds, delays, video has loud noises while watching them.. all in all they used the term PRO to make it sound good when in all actuality your getting a lesser product. The best I’ve seen yet was the XB(discontinued). Pains me to say it but it’s true.

The X pro has GPS and non visible flash plus a screen (which I like) and hybrid mode. I wouldn’t say it’s a gimmick but a trade off. I think the reveal x 2 is probably just as good but I decided to get the “better” one because I was only buying 1. I do think they made some steps forward and a couple steps back in this model though.

Your personal phone carrier does not matter with the cameras. Verizon and ATT have the most towers in the US. So if you have either carrier towers in the area, you will choose which one has the best signal for your area.

Some surveyor tried to steal my buddies camera but he got a picture of them and it notified him right away. when I first installed mine I brought my ladder so no one could reach it but I just relocated it and installed it lower and I locked it on the tree.
