9:20 I can't believe you simplified the events of Slaughterhouse III so much. They are crucial to show how awesome Lamenters are. Lamenters were ready to die in order to save all those people, but the former slaves asked to be left behind, so their saviours could survive. Still, sons of Sanguinus managed to rescue less than one tenth of the population by using converted Ork spacecrafts and then they destroyed mines on the planet to deny Orks valuable resources. Calgar offered them an Iron Halo as a reward for this, but they refused to accept it, because they failed to save those people. Ultramarines took it as a great offense to their Papa Smerf and everyone ended up hating Lamenters even more. Also, during the battle on Slaughterhouse III, the Black Rage manifested itself.

At about 2:30 you mention that the BAs have never had contact with the Lamenters, but in the "Trial by Blood," the flesh tearers book the Lamenters chapter master is one of the judges in Seths trial along with Dante.

Not sure even the Death Korps would appreciate the Lamentors 'Luck' however... though one can never tell with the Death Korps, after all, it would give them even more opportunities to sacrifice themselves in the Emperors Name.....

Ah the one Chapter that's had canon take a colossal shit on them. Although tg came up with a Chapter that had an even larger shit taken on them named the Sovereign's Appraisal which were an Ultramarines successor Chapter that Slaanesh seemed to want to serve it and gave them numerous mutations. They were also born with pink and/or purple skin colours.

I always feel sorry for the Lamentors. Not only are they dogged by their luck, possibly because some Entity decided... oooh, pretty, I think I'll play with your heads for a few millennia (who knows with the Cursed Founding, after all, MOST of the Cursed Founding have turned Traitor), but right at the end they get bitch slapped by the Black Rage. It's like, you know, lets hit your bad luck with an extra side platter of fuck you.... Probably why they are one of my favourite Chapters.... alongside the Black Dragons!
