Brighton as a whole, in terms of through the whole club, is exceptionally run. United is incredibly poor, and full of players who arent really wanted by the manager. There's nothing holding back Brighton from playing well. No external pressure to win, no stars deciding they're big dicks and better than the club and the manager, and no takeover bullshit. Tactics or not, its way harder for united to perform on the pitch at the moment

Brighton's energy and movement makes them a handful for any opponent. Man United do not have the players for a pressing game and yet they're being asked to do so. Then once the ineffectual press is beaten, the opposition often have overloads in very dangerous areas. United have too many personnel who fail to fit the same tactic: Rashford and Sancho want a fast counter-attacking game; Anthony couldn’t outrun Sean Dyche; CBs and Shaw are generally comfy on the ball; AWB at right back less so, but he's the best tackler in the side, possibly in the league. Casemiro is getting outmanouevred because neither Eriksen nor Fernandes are box-to-box, leaving him vulnerable. Rashford, Sancho, Garnacho and Mount are all best employed at AML; Anthony is the only left-footer who can play AMR (as Greenwood was sent out on loan). Lopsided squad in positions and skills. The incompetence of leadership to allow this is phenomenal.

I am still wondering what ETH’s actual personal football philosophy is. We all thought we knew what it was at Ajax but he’s not getting Man Utd to play anything quite like it. Ajax like Barcelona is an institution where the football philosophy is set in stone and all the academy players are coached from a young age to play a certain style. No wonder ETH is obsessed with signing former Ajax players because he doesn’t seem able to coach other players into this style of play whatsoever.

I think Erikson has been a weakness for the last year. He's great with the ball - very skilfull and creative. But out of possession he lacks the athleticism, mobility and workrate. When that's combined with Casameiro who doesn't get around much either then there is a real lack of dynamism in the middle in terms of stopping the opposition or winning the ball back. Amrabat and Mainoo could be better options when available.

I'm not exaggerating, ETH's Man UTD is easily predictable that multiple managers find a different exploit and punishes them it's hilsrious. it's like ETH is waiting to get punished so he knows what to do next, instead of taking measures before game.
