To be very honest: Even though this isn't DCS or anything like that..you use the Apache exactly the way it was designed to be used! This was exactly the intended use: head to a good battle position,pop up and unleash hellfires,rinse and repeat. All the while you see so many WT players just hover at high alt, pop off missiles and subsequently get shredded by AA/Airplanes. You know how to helo,that's for sure!

To be even more honest: we don't have longbow hellfires yet. IT should look like this: you lock 16 targets on you ground radar , fire all 16 rockets fire & forget and go RTB :)

Hey Hunter. U do good videos about thunder. Keep it they re cools. But in helicopter you should use flares with not ahead to rocket. It works with side ure still biggest heat in front of rockets. Try it once and you will understand me :)

Hello my friend, flares launch automatically with modern choppers like AH-64D, AH-1Z, Tiger UHT because they have missile warning systems, I did not press flares button in this battle at all, also it is worth to mention that flares do not work at all against radar guided missiles SPAAs like 2s6 or Roland have, they only work against heat seekers missiles like the AAMs choppers and jets have .. and also some of special kind of SPAAs like the Italian Sidam and the Japanese Type 93.

I assume most players aren’t aware of friendly fire. I was flying a bomber in ground arcade battle and there was one enemy tank that was going head on against 5 friendly tanks and it took out 2 of them, not even smoking yet, so i flew over and dropped a direct hit bomb but the blast radius must have been enough to destroy the remaining 3 friendly tanks which I immediately apologized for but had no idea that was possible. Shockingly i didn’t get kicked for that probably cuz i was aiming and successfully destroyed an enemy that my team seemed incapable of destroying 5 a 1

Hey Hunter, do you think that the AH-64A Peten is worth buying? I'm really hesitant about buying it. I would use it to help the grind for my helicopters, but also for CAS in ground RB. I don't know if it would really be worth the money to buy a helicopter that is basically already in the tech tree.

Hello my friend, maybe you want to try AH-1G first spawn in Ground RB, I kept using it until I unlocked AH-1F and AH-1Z and if it doesn't work well Peten is a fine chopper to grind the U.S choppers.

Stay low, flank, use cover and play defensive. Not all maps are good for choppers.

I second this. If you wanna grind the chopper tree with any efficiency at all you’re sort of forced to buy the premium helicopters. They made the grind like that on purpose to get people to buy premiums which i hate to say it i did it but i didn’t buy the KA-50 i was an idiot and bought the german MI-24 and got my eurocopter that way

Not gonna lie this video showcased exactly why I hate the fact Helis are in the game and that they can snipe players from the other side of the map kind of why I stopped playing once Helicopters were introduced. Unless you get lucky it's pretty much impossible to shoot down a helicopter in this game. Kind of gave up watching after the first five minutes cause in my opinion there's nothing enteraining about just watching a person take snipe shots at tanks I was expecting gun runs with the main cannon but that's how you get killed in a Heli in this game

I’m really annoyed, I just got the AH1Z and it has very bad lifting power and engine power. When I get shot at by a missile I dive but crash into the ground as I don’t have enough rpm to gain altitude. It is a good chopper tho and I’m gonna be using it to grind out the 64D. Also do you think that I should use the extra flares on use the AAM on it?

AH-1Z AAMs are good so it is better to keep them, the flight performance is bad and that's what I do not like about it, every dive or hard turn is a possible crash. Good luck my friend :)

Yeh agreed, it doesn’t have good lift or turn rare. Usually when I get a missile warning I dive and die from not being able pull up. In a normal Apache I would easily survive
