They really like it if you bring your own gear and weapons. 45 or 9mm pistol and an AR or AK based rifle. Chest rig, leg rig, war belt, along with a good day pack. 3 to 5 pistol mags, 8 to 12 rifle mags, an IFAK , camel back, and rain gear. My friend and I had the same set up and we were fine.

this looks awesome, i would love to do a class like this. but i guess it would get really anoying reloading every 5 rnds (canada). wonder if they would allow me to do a course in the US.

It's primarily a movement, tactics, and team building exercise rather than weapons manipulation.

That is how they teach it there. If it is in the air, should the gun discharge for some reason, it has a much less chance of hitting anything than if it were pointed at the ground where you have your feet and people lying down.

i noticed that when you guys are running you point the barrel in the air. were you guys forced to do that for the class or is that the prefered way that you guys chose to run with it?

What's with all the different weapon types? If one of you run dry you want to be able to hit up your mate

I wonder... at night would it be better to have a strobe? If you have a fixed light and position it would make you an easy target... I'm only asking because a buddy of mine has one for his glock and I just could not focus on him.

how did you convince tex grebner, nutnfancy, verilioness, 155milimeter, kiwited, mr lockandload and the mall ninja militia to do a video together. just joking. but seriously, some of that looked pretty bad. i guess that's what the training is for. I would have loved it is they had cameras filming from the threats POV. I think you would seen a lot of open shots, especially when reloading in the open.

@paddyspoint2 I've been doing live fire drills for years, its all about clear lanes of fire; if you do our part its very safe for what it is. I have seen people shot but its because they made a mistake by not following directions or staying with their units movements. 99% of the time its fine but you'll always get that iddiot that is over confident and its them that always gets shot. funny in a way.
