Imagine driving past your local water hole and seeing Matt out there on a Skeeter leaning on fish ❤❤

I’ve been lucky enough to fish with Matt when he was guiding out in California and let me just it’s awesome to see him put the puzzle pieces together in real time. He’s such a good fisherman, but his ability to teach people who aren’t on his level is what makes him the best. Thanks for always helping and teaching me…. Nate

Never had the pleasure of fish with him or tim but I have gotten to meet them both in Knoxville Tennessee at the Bass Masters and these are 2 very stand up guys. Super good people. So laid back and will talk fishing for hours with you. If you ever get the chance to meet them go and do it you will not be disappointed

Those X-Zone Swammers are dynamite! I really like the Perch and Bluegill colors for my neck of the woods. They make great spinnerbait trailers, in addition to everything else they do well.

I want to thank you guys so much you have taught me an enormous amount and helped me learn baits that confused me so much and learning swimbaits has been a blast. I have yet to catch a giant but have had plenty of followers and missed a few good ones. The looks I get from people here in central indiana is hilarious when they see me throwing a 7 inch bait. I know one of these trips I'll finally get a good one on a big Ole swimbait. Again thank you so much. I'll be sure to email a picture of when I get a good one

This is crazy and awesome at same time! I just used this same pattern Saturday morning with x-zone swammers and used new 2.75" version some as well-based on y'all's recommendation from a swim jig video did sitting in his jet boat when the water looked to be 51' low

Its insane what you mean about how crazy the bite is but they wont eat anything else... the ponds over here in northern illinois right now literally the fish hardly will eat anything besides a mepps inline spinner, its been the weirdest pattern for the last month or so, even if we've had very warm weather lately, the chatterbait hasnt even been working, just wild to me but you'll pull them out of the water cast after cast with the mepps

Our water is still cold. They prefer a tight running bait perhaps?
@limpingfisherman15099 ай бұрын
I am in northern Illinois also. I have only been getting bites on Kietec swing impact fat. They definitely are not chasing. You have to fish it super slow on a belly weighted hook. Tight Lines.

Underspin my favorite lure, but as tied in that palomar especially with such a long tag do you find it hard to fish? When I tie a palomar in it even with a tiny tag i pick up a lot of crap on the retrieve. More than the blade itself.

I fish a 125+ acre grass lake thats crazy. Its about 65% grass and pads and about 50% under 4’ deep. There are days you cant find a buck bass in the pads or grass but throw out in the middle of the lake on nothing and you’ll catch.

Why a Swammer over say a keitec ?
@jacobkramer10899 ай бұрын
I really like how the swammers roll when retrieved, gives a slightly different look to the fish. Durability is better too. Keitech is still king when it comes to color options and flat out catching fish though
@kylefaiss96259 ай бұрын
I'd like to see a breakdown of when to throw a keitech vs a swammer vs a mayor vs a largo vs a rhythm wag.. I bought a bunch of different ones and can't decide which one to use! lol

Whatever you have the most confidence in. Keitech is a little more subtle than a swammer but both are effective anytime of the year
