This Channel is one of the most informative and helpful channels I've ever subscribed to. I have many subscriptions, Lindner's, In-Fisherman, BassMasters, Megabass, ect. Tactical Bassin, these guys are teachers. You're not watching people catch fish and show off their trophies. Some of the other channels are informative, but with these gentlemen I find myself learning more about the Equipment, Lures, Techniques, and the Conditions in which to use them without all the fins and tails taking up valuable learning time. There's a time to Fish and a time to Teach! TEACH ME! Thanks guys.

I find it humorous how some people think tacticalbassin is just some KZbin channel. It’s very easy to be skeptical about KZbinrs promoting products to get an extra dollar in their pocket but that’s just not the case here...This guys is one of the best plain and simple. The methods are tried and true. Keep researching, take a year to learn the different styles and techniques and most importantly when to use them and you’re going to catch a lot in the process I’m telling you! Matt and Tim thank you once again.

Yep,rattletraps are definitely great search baits/toad smashers!I've ran into the same scenario with them falling to quick, and having to wind them in alittle too quick to get the desired action..Not sure if Bill Norman still makes their version of a rattletrap, but have a feeling you'd like it's action. They were relatively light, slow sinking, very fluttery, and good for working the bottom like a jig.Quite possibly a drawback may have been durability,as they might of not been much more than thin plastic..Great video on the traps!👍

A+ content. Tacticalbassin is my one stop spot for anything fishing. Nobody else shares this kind of in depth information anywhere. Every situation, bait, and equitment you would ever need is included for all types of anglers. New, experienced, and pros can learn from the giant lake of knowledge that tactical is nice enough to share with everyone. He does include baits that anybody can throw on basicly any type of rod, that won't break the bank. (sorry if you deal with brush piles,) I'd throw a jig or a soft plastic in a certain spot to check what's around you, then if it feels clear then go ahead and throw a lipless. (or any sinking treble hook bait for that matter) again thanks Matt and tim for everything you have taught me over the years, you seem to always teach me somthing new with every video, and I am greatful for everything shared, past, present and future! :)

Now that you guys are out here in Tennessee another technique that I've done really well with out here on rocky bottoms is casting it out, letting it sink to bottom, then slow rolling it on bottom ticking off the chunk rock on bottom. I use the Cotton Cordell bait bonanza lipless cranks at Walmart. The three main ones for me are the basic shad, red craw, and bass. I still haven’t caught anything on the bleeding shad patterns. If I were a fish I wouldn’t wanna bite them either, lol! I still have hopes for the “citrus” shad, though. It’s a chartreuse/blue back pattern.

DanLewis bigger hooks weight down my life into the grass and most important when I throw bigger hooks I catch 60 percent less and smaller fish I use size 8 owner so when bass go to swipe at it they see the lure not giant hooks in there face and never loose fish if hooks are good and rod is the right action

Any advice on how to keep from snagging up on the bottom? My lake is rocky and woody and I can only imagine that this method would lose many baits, but I'm still very eager to try this method

These upgrade techniques explains how they keep from losing so many baits like us bank fishermen with fewer rod changes. I always try to find steep bluffs, overlooking high points like piers, bridges, or levee roads.
