The AMES is still extremely good and I completely disagree there is an AR/SMG imbalance. There's only a few hills that we actually see AR players pull out a smg, but that has always been a thing in CoD history aka flex player. Red card is almost all ARs, there's other hills that smg's pull out ARs.. kinda how it is supposed to go. Jackal probably better overall, but AMES a consistent 5 bullet pretty much all ranges, 4 bullet with only 2-3 HS depending on range, fast fire rate/forgiving and literally ZERO RECOIL. At least jackal will bounce a bit if you're not close range and drops off to a 6 bullet kill fairly quickly. Bringing XM4, krig or model L back would result in 3-4 ARs on almost every hill.

I played formal a ton in blackout, it’s not mp but I was top 10 in world for solo kills and wins throughout the life of the game. But everytime Formal was in the lobby, he would always gun me. I gunned him 1 time for the win outta probably 20-25 matches. They just shoot different.

It's the same honestly they just shoot better and are always one step ahead of you. Back in WW2 I got matched against scump crim and methodz, yeah I got absolutely bodied but still managed to kill them a few times. It's a fun experience but very, very humbling lol 😂

I literally said this was going to happen back in early December. the pros ga'd every usable AR in the first 2 weeks of the game and allowed the SMGs to run amok. Then, when the subs really catch fire, the ARs wouldn't be able to keep up. This game would be amazing with an M4 or Model L meta. but pros arent smart

Game is so Sub oriented. A sub challing a heady has a much better chance than an AR challing the point vs a sub. Also with spawns being so bad it serves very little purpose having an AR on power positions. Thieves liked rewind because that map did have clearer spawns, open areas and power positions.

I played a pub against Huke, Havok, and Spacely back in WW2 and tbh I don’t think Scrap is too far off. Pretty sure I got 11 kills in a domination, they each had 50-80. Now if a fan was slotted into a pro team as a 4th they could probably get 6, but it surely isn’t a guarantee

Honestly I think they need to reevaluate GA’s on weapons after every major balance update. Or just don’t ban all the AR’s less than a month in a game. There is no reason why a SMG does more damage than an AR. In a perfect world I think brining back the model L would make the meta better.

I think the point is the damage. No person has had below 1000 damage in an HP in the CDL, and Scrap had 700. The next closest in the CDL ever is I think double that. So not only could he not buy a kill, but he never put damage into anyone besides those 6 kills, lol

I played against methodz and zooma in Cold War twice and won a 1v1 against zooma and another against methodz. Played scump and formal in Cold War crossroads HP and got multiple kills against scump and a couple against formal don’t get me wrong. They fried us overall, especially formal, but you can definitely get kills on them. Scrappy is delusional. Not saying I’m frying by no means but definitely getting some trades and kills.

You’d be suprised how many kills an average player would get in a cdl hardpoint. Not from winning gun fights simply from appearing in random ass places the pros wouldn’t be checking because they would be playing properly against the rest of the pro team the average player was on. They would have zero map impact but would get some kills i reckon.

I'm someone who thinks Scrappy needs to learn to keep his mouth closed and stop telling everyone you're the GOAT when you have zero rings. However, on the stinker, in over a decade or more of watching competitive COD, I've never seen anyone have an entire map like that where he just got "COD timing" for the entire map. Normally, a guy gets in the blender, and over the course of the map, things kind of balance out. He was just getting shot in the side all the time, had people coming at him from weird angles, was getting dumb spawns. Like I said, I'm not going to be Scrappy's PR guy and run cover for him, but I've never seen anyone have a map like that where it just looked like the entire game was out to get him. LOL. As for "How Many Kills Am I Getting in a Pro Map?"... Depends. If you swap me for Ghosty on LAT and we play another CDL team, between 2 and 6 kills. If you put me on on a team with four randoms against a CDL team, I'm lucky if I get 2. Playing WITH players of that calibre would open space for you to get trades and stuff if you just run in the pocket or hit the hill. Playing with other potatoes like me, we're getting dumpstered and would be lucky not to get shut out.

IMO - Not being able to take criticism in any professional setting is troubling. Scrap is nasty on the sticks but his skin is too thin. This was an issue for scump back in the day too.
