It’s called budgeting and math. If you can do both very well, you can figure out how to sign top tier talent. Or you can, if the current players are willing, restructure and make more cap space. The chiefs and other team GMs find the formulas that work. Jerry jones is the biggest reason why they don’t make big moves early on. They say “all in” and resign the long snapper. He clearly needs to step back completely and let others make decisions.

I was mad disappointed when the Patriots resigned Mike Onwenu. I felt like he was about to be the best free agent lineman available. That would've been a good replacement for Moses, but when he resigned I thought we would at least get Trent Brown and now we got Josh Jones instead. I think Jones is ok, but I don't think it fixes the hole at RT.
