Tadiandamol is the highest peak of Kodagu district, Karnataka, India. The third highest peak in Karnataka and reaches an elevation of 1,748 m. A place of interest for trekkers and naturalists. The mountain has patches of shola forests in the valleys.

Actually we stayed in Coffee County Homestay. It was basic and nice. No swimming pool. You can search something near by.

Thanks buddy, you can't do the night camping on the top. Its banned since many years. You can camp at the base before forest checkpost

We did camp at the top in 2013, that time Tadiandamol wasn't famous. Now forest rules are stricter (for a good reason)

That's true. During trek you will not get any landslides. Check the wether forecast and avoid heavy rainfall times. I found Aug-Jan being the best season

Camping not allowed near the forest checkpost. There are so many homestays near the base where you can pitch tent and use their service like food and restrooms. We stayed in coffee country / county i guess. The stay was basic and food was also fine. If you want to the starting point, let me know.

Haha, no problem bro... Happy to help 😊 There is no guide necessary. The path is very well defined. If it is on weekends, then there will be lot of groups, so no worries at all, you can follow any group. Also, just download the offline maps and go ahead !! It's a DIY trek 🤘I have just checked the trek is open now 6am to 6pm. So enjoy your time ☺️

Hi Pushpa, Coorg is decent for summers. Sun would be intense in the afternoons. Grasslands would be brown and waterfalls would be dry. Better choose a very good homestay/resort and enjoy time in coorg

Can we travel on bikes till that office ?

You may travel with bikes only till the view point. From there to the forest office you still gotta walk. There is no parking as such at viewpoint, so it can get risky. It's kind of an uphill, so it's better to take jeep as there are roads are very steep and only jeep kind of vehicles can scale easily. Or you could even walk as it is good view with streams and all which is totally fine.
