I would always choose kim bok joo and jung joon hyung over kim bok jo and his brother. Also, you're wrong about the drama. He didn't leave his previous girlfriend for kim bok jo..he didn't even know kim bok joo attended the same university when he was in that relationship. His previous girlfriend broke up with him, tried to get back together with him but to no avail because he constantly rejected her advances and kept falling in love with bok joo instead. And he only asked her out after it was made clear that his brother did not like kim bok joo and she even had some time to get a bit over him. Bok joo's affection for jaeyi ended wayyy early in the drama. And was never as i said, reciprocated. Kim bok joo and jung joon hyung was a relationship that made sense and wasn't anything like who are you. They were soooo awesome. In this drama, on the other hand, he clearly is still in love with go eunbyeol..but then falls for go eunbi..while believing her to be eunbyeol..which is very very weird. The fact that he gets over a love that lasted ten years so fast to basically fall for a nicer version of eunbyeol is just contrived as hell. In kim bok joo, the couple didn't feel contrived at all..you could actually see why they fell for each other...especially from jung joon hyung's side, who as I said, wasn't in love with a whole another person like Yi an. Like the only elements, these two situations share together are A) Love triangle..which is a thing that happens basically everywhere, the love triangle is still different in both, it's only the presence of a love triangle that is the same And that's it. I know he was a swimmer in both dramas but they weren't trying to replicate kim bok joo here. They just added swimming as a personality trait. In kim bok joo, on the other hand, it's pretty necessary to have some sport, and the actor is a good swimmer, so it's a no brainer. Yi An could be a basketball player instead and that would have no effect on the outcome.

Yi An was in love with Eun Byul since he was little. When he learned that the girl he was thinking as Eun Byul was actually Eun Bi wasn't talking to her for a long time. Tae Kwang loved Eun Bi because she was herself when she was with him. He fall in love with Eun Bi the way she really was. Also he stayed by her side even if he knew that nothing will ever happen between them. He was there when she was sad, when she needed comfort, when she was happy and he was also there to protect her and after all this Eun Bi chose Yi An. The series was incredible, I loved every episode but the end was just disappointing...

7years passaed but i still want to talk to the director. Why??? I know they made it realistic bcz thats what happens in real life. But still I'm stressed over it. I think not only me. Really cant take it at all. He was there for her all the time. He tried to understand eunbi whaile Han yian was only thinking about eunbyol. I cant blame him bcz he loved eunbyol so its normal. But at that time did he ever tried to think whats going through eunbi? No. Because he didn’t love her. Taegwang was sad for go eunbyols death but he never blamed eunbi. He understood that eunbi had a worse past. He comforted her and called her by her real name, helped her getting rid of kang soyong, cheer her when she was down, secretly helped her with the documents... But see peoples heart are so strange. She was sad that she Couldn't return his feeling with same vibe, bcz she Couldn't. So i want the Director to make a second season or atleast 1 special eisode or anything. I just want to see him being satisfied. Cant bear the best person getting disappointed all the time.

It's 2019 and I still can't get over with them not ending up together but partly happy because though Sungjae was not the male lead it looks like he was. The story evolves in them. They have more scenes together and Sungjae's role and scenes were more heavy compared to Han yi an. EDIT: Plus they end up with an award of best love team if I'm not mistaken that was the tittle of the award

It just happened that the actor who played Teakwang was really great go the point of building a better chemistry than the two leads had.
