Can someone explain the pronunciations to me, please? As an example: at 9:30 he says (in my ears) Pakkatmakgi but it’s written Bakkanmakgi, i.e. hard ‚P’ instead soft ‚B’ and ‚T’ instead of ‚N’

A few of the Korean consonants are a sound that is in-between or a combination of 2 English sounds. The consonant ㅂ is a good example sounding between p and b like you noticed. When writing these sounds in English many just arbitrarily choose to go with either letter, if you go on a wiki or some other website you likely can find the same move spelt using the other consonant. Hope this helped!

Some people do it differently, I am a red belt student and it went white,yellow,gold,orange,green,purple,blue,red,brown and black stripe, and then all the degrees of black

As far as I know: 10-8 gup (white to yellow, but the colors vary a bit): no poomsae. 7th gup (yellow/green, yellow with green tip and perhaps other variants): Taeguk 1. 6th gup (green, again varies): Taeguk 2 5th gup (green/blue, green blue tip and others): Taeguk 3 4th gup (blue): Taeguk 4 3rd gup (blue/red, ...): Taeguk 5 2nd gup (red, brown...): Taeguk 6 1st gup (red/black...): Taeguk 7 1st Dan (black): Taeguk 8 2nd Dan: Koryo
