I haven't finished reading the story yet, but I just want to say this in general. Why do people blame kids if the parents pass away? Especially when the mother dies during birth. Like there are some fathers who blame the child for their wife dying when it was their choice or even the mother's choice to save the baby. I hate that they are willing to blame a newborn and neglect, abuse, and torture a child because of something they couldn't control. That's what I'm most scared of for the future. I don't want to die during birth and not being able to physically see my child grow up and even worse to see someone who I loved abuse them and blame them for my death.
