Taehyung doing the "Tata mic face" started as something cute when he was cheating to get a mic gift, he made a very cute and innocent face saying "tata mic". After sometime he started doing it subconsciously when he gets really nervous or shy, sometimes he does it just for fun, but most of the time is because he need time to think or calm himself. The members find this really cute and funny too, sometimes they just notice how Tae just do it without thinking and it's very cute. I never find it creepy, but sometimes without context it can be I guess🤷🏻‍♀️

It was an just observation on when he became introvert after being so goofy in his younger years because he really did mellow down especually in 2018. He even discussed his struggles in Suchwita. About the tata mic face, for me, it was cute and innocent and funny and again , FOR ME , it somewhat replaced his goofyness. Tae unconsciously uses Tata Mic face when whining, asking for favor and when he is role playing. If you've been an older army, you have witnessed him doing this ever since he debuted. It was only during the pandemic where it became more noticeable because he used it to his advantage. We then called it a "face that you could never say no" ☺️

Ben, I really like your videos but you need to know Taehyung better, he's not only handsome and cool, he isn't always savage or serious either, actually Taehyung is one of the sweetest idols, he's not only kind but also very very innocent, Jimin himself explain it very detailed, because he just has a innocent soul and he keeps his inner child... Thank you for saying this. I agree 100%. I usually enjoy Ben's videos but I feel like he gets Taehyung wrong 90% of the time. He only really knows the sexy/cool side of Taehyung but there is so much more to him - Tae's so diverse and interesting...it's frustrating watching Ben miss the plot every time. I really think it's the videos he chooses to react to. The people who make them aren't Tae biased so they paint him the same way as the fandom/company does - as the endearing 3D weirdo of the group with little to no athletic ability that just happens to be oddly smart and comedically savage. Shared some great Tae-centric videos with Ben when he expressed an interest in learning more about Tae but I guess he didn't really care to dig that deep.

I enjoy some of Ben's videos but it's clear he only knows Tae and BTS from what he shares because his understanding is very limited. Reactors always take the "savage" videos as all there is to Taehyung, whereas in reality, they're compilations of occasions over many years and so totally not the whole Tae, which is a shame. I suppose we have to take it as just a bit of fun and accept that Ben is going to often miss the mark.

@@cosas_de_gatos i think they mean maybe because in more classic movies they are more animated body wise where it isn't as natural as a lot of acting today like today we go for more realism, back then it was more dramatic/performance driven (which isn't a bad thing btw) even in terms of voice most would put on a certain way of speaking so tae doing this he's more animated/extra more than it just looks natural though i do think it has become a more natural habit of his now (but we all pick up habits where we wouldn't do something naturally and then if becomes almost a part of you and you do it without thinking)

It's like he has music in his head and is swaying to it. It definitely grabs your attention cause it looks cute and brings a smile to your face. The first few times he did this, Army went crazy, and he did it a lot a few years ago. Don't forget V is a brilliant actor, this is a "character" he puts on...I don't find it creepy or possessed...but cute/funny.
