Sometimes, I do experience moments where I have to stop myself, and think about the nature of V's behavior towards Jin. I try not to see everything as shippy and usually try to find the video sources to watch the entire interaction, and sometimes from different angles, but I do catch moments where their behaviors are questionable. So far, my assumptions go down two paths; either V has an immense adoration/admiration for Jin either because he's had similar experiences as JK (being young when he joined BTS, being raised by Jin, etc.); thusly, an emotional older brother/younger brother attachment, or he has a major crush on Jin, which struck him in their pre-debut days, peaked during Wings era, and burning bright and hot in LY era. I can't pinpoint it exactly, but something about the way V looks at Jin is something different and it's ALWAYS intense. I can't fully say it's romantic, and I can't fully say it isn't either. Jin is also an enigma - sometimes he reciprocates, sometimes he doesn't. For me, out of all the Jin ships, TaeJin is the only one that has blurred lines between platonic and romantic, and it's mainly because of the way V behaves around Jin; as if Jin is the most important person to him in the room. V follows him like a puppy, acts cute to get his attention, shows jealousy in his body language especially when Jin interacts with others, always wants to touch Jin, gazes at him, gives him the most expensive and customized gift that says purple you all over, wears the bracelet that Jin gave to him on his birthday everyday, and confesses publicly that he loves Jin the most. Certainly, I am 110% sure they love one another, be it romantic or not. The question is...to what extent?

I couldn't have said it better. I usually don't watch the analysis and I don't want to assume anything as we don't know what the real truth is so saying that any member "is dating" the other is disrespectful. Taejin always give me different kinds of Vibes and I think majority of the popular ships are fucking overrated. I always feel like Tae and kookie play with each other like brothers/friends,they give me that brotherly feels and Jikook too and all the other ships as well but the way Tae looks at Jin is questionable. Taejin was the first ship in BTS and Armys at that time started noticing the behavior of Taejin and nowadays many Armys got delusional and say Vkook,Namjin are dating like wtf? You guys just mostly ship Vkook only coz they are Maknaes and also there are many solo V and Jk's stans who ship vkook. Tbh most of the analysis vkook videos are pretty inaccurate that's why I stopped watching them. I used to watch them to see their cute moments but these makers of Vkook videos ship vkook as a couple so they always give couple analysis. They behave like brothers with each other!! The only questionable ship in BTS is Taejin, I wouldn't go lenghts to say that they are dating but I think that this ship is realest of all the other ships.

Yes, I absolutely agree with you. While I was watching videos of RM stating that they'll reveal "something important" coming up soon, I saw the comments section littered with delulu VKook shippers stating that JK and V will be coming out. I literally had to roll my eyes and shake my head. Some shippers are just way in over their heads, and just want to see what they want to see. The saying goes that if you believe something long enough, it becomes truth to you. V treats JK the way he treats a younger relative (V has small cousins he seen playing with), so he'll be playful with whoever is playful - most of the time it's JK. JK acts like a baby to all his hyungs, who treat him like so. All their interactions are extremely cute, but they're nowhere near romantic and are just brotherly affections. But enough about VKook (let people ship whatever), I have to say that TaeJin has a different vibe than other ships. There's this intense presence in V and Jin's relationship, which doesn't exist with other relationships they have with other members. Sometimes V forgets there's a camera, and has been caught following Jin, touching him, and looking at him with soft gazes - whether it's admiration or romantic is something to debate about. Sometimes these moments are subtle, other times more obvious. Whatever the case is, the body language doesn't lie (60% - 80% of communication). Also, like I said before, V giving Jin a purple you expensive and one of a kind Tom Ford coat is a marker for how he feels about Jin. He wants Jin to have this exclusive gift that no one else can give him; and we are all no strangers to what purple and fashion means to V. To date (correct me if I'm wrong), V has not given any other member this kind of gift, which says something. I don't know what goes on behind the scenes, but V has declared in public that he bought Jin's gift early and had it customized, shocking even the rest of the BTS members. It may be just material goods, but the fact that V placed time, effort, and thoughts into the gift means he thought a lot about what he wanted to show Jin - how much he love and appreciates him. Purple meaning that he'll trust and love Jin for a long time, instead of black, blue, or grey which are Jin and V's favorite colors. It was specifically purple. And then V explains later with disappointment that people made replicas of Jin's coat, meant that it wasn't just any purple coat to him. It was something special that they shared between them, and it was upsetting for him to know that his efforts of trying to make Jin's gift as one of a kind in the world was in vain. Also, I saw on Twitter that lately V has been flossin' the Tiffany bracelet that Jin gave him on his birthday back in December, and has worn it every single day. I wrote on another video that Jin must have put thought into this bracelet, that looks like two circles coming together as one to form an infinity symbol. It may very well mean that his love or whatever feelings he has for V is infinite/forever. If this bracelet didn't mean something deep between them, V wouldn't put the effort to wear it everyday. And Jin wouldn't have mentioned it in Saipan; but it's obvious he's amazed by V's dedication. He wanted to further express how close he is with V, and how much his gift meant to V. He felt special, I'm sure. I also said that if V keeps this bracelet on while he's sleeping, eating, showering, it means that he is always trying to keep Jin close and never wants to let him go/lose him. If V takes off and puts on this bracelet everyday, then it means he thinks of Jin very fondly at least once a day. In pictures, I also noticed that V tends to wear the same combination of bracelets on this right wrist, and I don't know if the members gave those to him or he bought them himself, but I know that sometimes not all the bracelets are there and the only one that always remains is the one that Jin gave him. Whatever it is, V loves his bracelet and it has a special meaning to him. I don't see him behaving this way with other members' gifts, especially not publicly. I point all these things out because like I said, there are times when the line between brotherhood and romantic love blurs between TaeJin. Lately in the LY era, we see a lot of TaeJin, and they appear a lot closer than before. Something has changed between them, and I noticed that Jin is reciprocating attention to V a lot more. I think V's efforts to draw Jin's attention to him finally paid off all these years; the TaeJin fight made them understand one another and pushed them closer together. What is also interesting to me is the change in JinKook's relationship as well, which adds to the TaeJin dynamics. As V and Jin became closer, Jin and JK became a little more distant, when they were practically clingy and inseparable twins before. It could be because JK grew up and became less clingy, but nowadays even non-shippers can see they're still loving towards one another, but more distant. Sometimes, I think there's a secret war between JK and V to nab the position of being Jin's favorite dongsaeng. If you look at the video of their concert in Taiwan, you can see one of the battles going on; the way JK glares at V after he was seen playing with Jin with the flying kiss. Then V attempting to see JinKook interactions behind the other members before Jimin had to nudge him to turn and face the cameras. V had such a fake smile on his face. I don't like to bring JK into a TaeJin video, but I'm trying to make a comparison to make points (observations) on the changes in Jin's relationship with the maknae line. For me, JinMin's relationship is the only one that hasn't changed because Jin and Jimin are very similar in personality; and are very loving towards one another. Jimin is the best at reading emotions, and will fill in to support Jin whenever JK or V fails forgets to (reference to the RUN episode where Jin and Jimin had to walk uphill). For JK and V, there are definitely changes in their relationship to Jin; part of it may be due to maturity, and the rest may be due to something else.

Sometimes fans are too much. I especially hate when Jin is called a mom or a pink princess, because he's daddy af. The delulus water down Jin ships as mom and son with maknae line to fit their agenda, which pisses me off. Actually, Jin is the perfect husband material - can cook and take care of others, is hard working, funny (cracks DAD jokes, not MOM jokes), charming, talented, and god damn handsome. So what if he used to like pink? Can pink only be liked by women and what rule says pink belongs only to women? So what if he likes to cook and care for others? Do only moms cook and take care of others? Those fans have low mentality and I will slap any solo shipper for putting Jin or the rest of BTS members down. Jin just acts dorky and extra to make others laugh, because it makes him and others happy, but there are definitely moments when he's very manly and savage. People mistake that there's only one side to Jin, and people emasculate him to make him fit their delulu fantasies of NamJin (mom and dad) and Mom!Jin with maknae line (kids). They ignore what really goes on, and it annoys the shit out of me. Ship whatever, but don't put Jin or other members down.

I think the way V behaves around Jin is mostly because of Jin's personality. I admit that V was attracted to Jin's handsome face at first but the fact that he still looks at Jin like he is the most precious human there is, makes me believe that he is attracted to the person Jin really is... You can fall in love with a person because of his looks but the personality of that person is what that makes you stay in love... After all this time V's feelings for Jin never changed... I don't know anything about their relationship, but the bond they share is really strong and beautiful and that's all I need to know...
