私は山口県角島に行くといつも「黒のクレール」を思い出します。どこか外国のような角島の海の風景にこの曲がよく似合うように感じるのです。そして自分の人生の一コマを映画や詩のような次元に昇華させてくれる音楽と共に生きられる幸せを噛み締めます。大貫さんと同じ時代に生まれて本当によかった。ありがとう。

初めてこの曲を聞いたのはかれこれ38年程前でした。歌詞の最後、「夕映えが永遠を映す…」と言う所を今迄ずっと「永遠が包む…」と勘違いして覚えていました…。それはそうと、この曲の切なさは永遠に不滅です。
