Nice videos! Is this your own place you are practicing in?

Hi :) No it is a training room / dojo that I have booked to shoot the videos.

Hello Nora, today is the first time I viewed this tutorial, and the way you seem too accelerate and snap just at the striking point is impressive! How long were you training before you could deliver a kicking technique that effectively?
@NoraTKD5 жыл бұрын
Hi Pete, thank you for your lovely comment! :) This is my favourite kick, I have practiced a lot but interestingly this was the kick that I could do well enough since I was a white/yellow belt. Then I always practiced it more and more and managed to figure out how to do it effectively and do the different variations as well, that is why I made the tutorial to teach others how to do it well. On the other side, I had to work on my side kick a lot lot more! The side kick was really difficult for me and I was only able to do it good enough when I became a black belt. So that was a long time for me to learn. Only because I had to kick through 3-4 wooden boards and you cannot miss that. I think we all have our favourite kicks and somehow just feels right when you do them - for me that is the tornado kick :) For others, that might be the side kick which I constantly have to practice to be good at!

I can't even stretch my legs up Any suggestions mentor?
@NoraTKD5 жыл бұрын
What do you mean? Can you straighten your legs when you sit down on the floor?
@imperia63685 жыл бұрын
I mean my legs won't go up . Not much flexible
@NoraTKD5 жыл бұрын
I see, well then I think that more like an issue with your hips and back. You might consider some stretching and relaxation of the muscles in that area and then focus on straightening your legs. Your legs will only go straight if your lower back muscles are stretches and ready to help your legs. So focus on your back first then on your legs. Try to do these videos (one every day), hope that they will help you: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fILWh6OujJh6mJo and kzbin.info/www/bejne/bpyteIalZad7ec0. When those are done then try to do this workout for your legs: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJfHXmSFbKitn5o

This one is a bit too fancy. I see alot of these in ITF and WTF taekwondo. You have too be really secure with your ability to try this on the street lol.

Haha, yes, it is a lot fancy, my favourite "show-off" kick :) it is definitely not "for the streets"
