In my last Tournament, my opponent absolutely destroyed my liver with shovel hooks. Apparently, his leg was injured, but he still wanted to compete, so his instructor had him use boxing. I ended up winning, but it was only because of points. I got knocked down twice. That wasn't a victory

My last tkd national tournament was 2017. im 15 at that time, welterweight division playing for gold then im super tired bc i got 4 fights before the finals...i still remember i can't kick on head level anymore so I just throw 1,2 punches and won(sorry for bad English)

The arm movement of inner-defense is a very good punch for self-defense. It's illegal in boxing for a reason.

Why? Take a look at Kyokushin tournaments, they can't punch to the head either. There are also punch knockouts there, by punches to the body.
