I REMEMBER THIS. I thought it would hurt but it didn't. I can't do the splits but I guess gravity did its thing and since I can do split kicks this wasn't as crazy as I thought. It's a good stretch though and keeps me flexible

That seems like a perfect way to learn splits rather than the master forcing you to the ground and end up crying in pain but I can't do splits cause I have a boney pelvis and always get hamstring tightness even if I try to do one i1 will be on my knees and not flat but still I should try the chair next in the video when I join taekwendo

@@haji_8852 everyone has different bone angles not everyone can do 140° because we are all born different. Some can reach side splits in just a minute. But for me I dont know if I can reach that split. We do a lot of stretching to reach it and so we can kick high. And some people cant reach a high split even if they stretch for 20 years.

How can a short person succeed against a taller opponent in sparring, tournaments or street self defense
@morganblack57563 жыл бұрын
Well I know in Taekwondo a really good way is if you are short, to try to get really close to your opponent so that it’s harder to kick you. Or try to stay farther away from them ( basically try to stay out of their kicking range.) This is just a simple way. I’m not sure if it works in other martial arts but I know it works in Taekwondo.

You ever hear of a guy named Saenchai? haha
@matttheradartechnician43083 жыл бұрын
Short guys ate usually better, like 5'4" to 5'8" guys compared to the really tall. The short guys can't get headshots easily but if you get super close they are fucked

It's not really that painful if you looked at his face you wont see any emotion that he is feeling any pain I think this better rather than forcing the students to split , But luckily for me I wasn't really forced to split cause after 2 months of stretching and training I can finally do the full splits and the side splits
@user-ef3tp1mc7l Жыл бұрын
@Real Aiglon It's painful actually even if you do them correctly they're still painful unless if you're already used to it after training for months he has a bit of flexibility to do the splits, and it's pretty obvious since he is a blue belt
