I love everything you said. I have been listening to Kpop since I was middle school (and I'm 28 now😅) but didn't have the chance to really stan a group or solo artist. But i guess our bias really chooses us and thats what made me bind with Taemin and 5hinee. What made me follow Taemin was not because of his dance,nor his voice or his appearance but his ATTITUDE , he is really an epitome of hardwork. I am always amaze on how dedication made him the main dancer of Korea without any prior dance background, self thought, then became a main vocalist by sacrificing leisure time in practicing singing. It really inspires me that when we work hard and put dedication in everything we do, we will surely get the result that we want.. Thank you again for this reaction.

Taemin in all his songs and comebacks has always tried so many different vocal registers, the insane control he has of his voice and the vocal power when required is incredible. I mean he always likes to get out of his vocal comfort zone. I love that .. vocal King Indeed. And the ballads or emotional songs, he really managed to convey emotions. Like a dancing king like a vocal king. The king of Kpop. The owner of T-Pop.

I'm always living for Taemin vocal appreciation and I loved everything you said about his breath control and vibrato and how you can tell he put work into his vocal training 👏 He for me personally has my favorite voice of any artist out there, no matter if it's kpop or not. His voice has something warm and soothing to me but also something very sexy about it when he wants to. Yes! People are often so wowed by his dancing that they forget his stunning vocals. Jonghyun once said that Taemin could do anything and it took me yrars to understand what he meant. If you get the chance, I highly recommend Soldier & Rise live - absolutely mesmerizing. The passion he exudes is...he's not performing, we just happen to bear witness to a private moment. You'll understand when you see it. I don't know how he's able to sing as if it's just the easiest thing in the world....he's come such a long way since being called tone deaf...

I absolutely love this song and love the things you’ve pointed out about his voice. Yes, one can tell he’s spent hours training his vocals, his breath control is amazing and I absolutely love his tone and vibrato. I don’t know if you’ve seen it, but you should watch his performance of Sekaide Ichiban Aishita Hito from 2016 (he performed in a pouring rain on a festival in Japan - sorry, don’t remember the name of the festival…) Thank you for always appreciating Taemin, he’s my favorite artist in the world and I can’t wait for his grand comeback.

I'm so happy you're doing vocal analysis and appreciation for his ballads. Most reactors talk about his vocals in title tracks and his dancing but his ballads are the reason why I fell in love with him. With his history of feeling like the weakest link in terms of vocal at the start, I can't help but be proud of the effort and the hours he has put in and how it shows in the results. Being a new fan, some of his live concerts that I've watched felt "fake" because he does make it so effortless. You were right about his control and breathing but the mention of his lack of NECK TENSION was what made me clap aloud haha because that is exactly why I didn't believe he sings live back then because he looks so relaxed. Haaaa It's just very very good training and a perfect execution. Hope to see more of these taemin vocal appreciation.

The thing that made Taemin my fave artist is not his incredble dancing, but his voice and how well it conveys the emotion or mood of a song. There are many different shades in his vocal tone, each its own character. Maybe you can react to Mystery Lover? That song really showcased how good he is as a vocalist.

This is one of my favourite songs of Taemin. When he started with shinee sm entertainment refused to train him vocally so jonghyun and Onew took it upon themselves to train him vocally at the beginning of their career. Afterwards Taemin vocally trained with a vocal coach.

The lyrics are beautiful and Taemins voice here its warm and breathy. He have such good balads under his repertoire that arent always visible, thats a shame beacause hes a really good good singer. I hope you have seen his Vlive beyond live concert. His singing, dancing and stage performance, fashion is pure art. Taemin=art. He is so special. do you know taemin's story? he was called "tone deaf" people told him , his voice was not good for singing, he only should focus on dancing seriously there are many videos where he talks about this and how much he worked to improve his vocal skills really he is worthy of admiration a true example of "hard work can make you perfect"
