He used to make fun of Jonghyun for being short and worry publicly about him being to skinny so he feels free to make comments about others and no doubt has opinions that are not always positive about his colleagues and other stars in the entertainment industry that he shares. Taemin is an adult and not some fragile being who cannot brook criticism. Do not infantalize the man! Second, most tattoos were they on paper rather than on skin would not be hung on the walls of a person´s home because rarely rarely are they works of art. They are usually crudely drawn and lacking in artistic merit yet people put them PERMANENTLY on their bodies. Personally, I find them bodily graffiti rather than embellishment. Taemin has the financial means to get his tattoo removed the day he changes his mind so that makes me happy to know. I think it is a mistake if he tattooed himself. That is my opinion and I am free to share it. I cannot think of an artist whomI hold in higher esteem than I do Taemin. And the little I know of him he seems a truly decent and unique individual. My comment on a tattoo does not distract from that! And does no harm to Taemin who surely has the confidence to listen & consider or laugh off!

Jonghyun was one of his closest friends, a brother.. they are allowed to make comments and jabs about each other, it's just what men do, we tease each other about this and that in a friendly manner. but he has never said anything negative or mean spirited towards anyone he isn't close to because, unlike you, he knows that is disrespectful and ugly behaviour. sure, he has probably judged someone quietly to himself or mentioned it among his friends. he's human, he's not perfect. but he has the decency and respect to keep it quiet. he makes comments all the time, speaking negatively about himself, but it's obviously not anything serious. he jokes about being "dumb" but we all know he's not and he's mentioned being proud of himself plenty. he makes comments about his own looks, but he still freely shows himself on camera, naturally as he is, so if he was genuinely bothered, he wouldn't show himself. also, you who boast knowing Taemin so well, would know that he is a very introverted person. so it's sad when he has began opening up more and more and feels comfortable enough to show us parts of him that he never would have before, and your reaction to it is hate. it is not criticism. you are not providing any helpful feedback to him, you are being just plain hateful towards something important to him. I'm not infantilizing him by caring for him. sure, he can brush off a negative comment or two. but you are not the only one expressing hate and disgust at his tattoo, it's a large group of people. you don't think after a certain point, hearing that much negativity would affect him? you don't have to like every bit of him, it's perfectly fine that you don't like his tattoo. but what deluded part of your mind makes you think it's ok to go on and on about it publicly? especially on his own channel? Teamin is a human being, plain and simple. he is not unbreakable, he has thoughts and feelings just like anyone else, he is not free of pain. he is not protected just because he is a public figure. he is not a "temple" as you keep calling him. stop holding him to such an impossibility high standard. he is just a man. one more note, because you don't seem to know much about how art and human emotions work. tattoos are often not the same as art you'd display on a wall, correct... because it's far more personal than that. art displayed on the body is much more personal and important to the wearer. it's has a deeper meaning, it's not something to simply hang up for decoration (though beauty is obviously a factor at play here too). it's something the wearer wants to keep close to themself, something they want to express as a part of themself. and the fact that he's freely showing it now means he's ready and willing to share with us too. tattoos are intimate. not ALL people treat them this way of course. there is people who don't care much for their bodies and get meaningless random doodles just because they think it's funny. but you know Taemin isn't one of those people. he mentioned he is eager to share more about his tattoos and their meanings. so please don't brush them off as "graffiti". hopefully after you hear how important they are and what they mean to him, you will learn to have a more respectful view.

Taemin is probably rich enough to not do any housework or never have to make a meal himself (if he's not then SM is seriously exploiting him) and yet we have him vacuuming and making pork belly and rice. It's so endearing to see how normal and humble he is.

Not everyone is the same, but in general, I notice kpop idols use money on luxury but not the kind we are "used to" like 20 cars and large houses with swimming pools. They do not have a tendency to spend money on things they normally did and do by themself like cooking, dishwashing, cleaning etc.
