As a person who has a hard time expressing her feelings to friends, I can understand Tae. People like to point out that Jimin cares more about Tae than Tae does about Jimin, but in reality they just have different ways to show their love and care for one another. Tae definitely is aware of this (judging by the letter he wrote to Jimin), and the ways in which he shows his feelings are more subtle, but they're definitely there. I love their relationship so much, it fills me with warmth and happiness

i'm not for shipping real people and i think a lot of shipping culture, especially with armys, is very toxic - but if any one from whatever ship said tae and jimin weren't best friends, i'd defo call them out on it. i think jk and jimin are close and jk and tae are close, but jm and v have admitted they're bff soulmates multiple times. that doesn't have to mean romantic, but even with them saying it - i've watched pretty much all the content there is and it's clear they love and care for each other A LOT. like up all night on the phone bffs, know each other's deep dark secret bffs. vmin may not be romantic, but they are the real deal best friends and it's very clear where they stand with each other. no one can PROVE jikook or taekook or any imagined romantic ship in bts - but there's no denying tae and jimin are super bffs
