Just Tae pouring his heart out. This is a very personal song to his then girlfriend when they broke up. Like an apology to her. This got Taeyang his solo major award Song of the year in 2014. He won back Min Hyorin afterwards. Girl in the burning billboard is Hyorin. Imagine dedicating a whole song to you, I would never let Teayang go too lol. This is actually a very brave gesture since in idol world, being in a relationship is considered a "scandal". Glad he didn't have this issue. They're now married 🥰

This song was written and produced after he broke up with the girl in the billboard/picture in the MV. She was in an early MV of his and they dated for a while before breaking up. They got back together after this MV, got married and had a son in 2021.

A girl on the burning board is actually his ex-girlfriend (now his wife), actress Min Hyo Rin. The song dedicated to her and its written during their break-up time. They met in his 1AM MV starring together and she is also Taeyang's first love. Taeyang was the idol that never had any relationship until he met his wife. You should check the lyric too. It's so much deeply emotional and beautiful❤
