This song, in my opinion, really suits Taeyang, because hip hip is his roots. For what I know he is a rapper originaly, as GD. Even before debut they were involved in underground hip hop. And I think they always tried to bring hip hop into big bang songs. I'm happy that he is doing the kind of music he really seems to enjoy, like 100%! In an interview he said that he doesn't want to be stuck with the same music style for the rest of his life. And I'm glad for the support from the YG crew: team A and team B from WIN, and of course, G-dragon. I'm totally satisfied with this song, the MV and the dance practice. Taeyang fighting!!!

He is an artist, and for that matter he wants to go out os his comfort zone. G-Dragon reinvents himself all the time, but Taeyang can't do this too?? I think Taeyang is an amazing R&B artist, but if you search about his life, like, a loooooong time ago, you can see that his musical interest and true love is hip hop. Even if people think that this music style does not suits him, at the end, it's what makes him HAPPY, and that's what matters to me. =]

Taeyang PORTRAYED an image of R&B for his first solo career because thats what the public liked. To all those complaining that Taeyang Ringa Linga video has a lot of GD influence, Where? Aside from the hair comparisons. From the beginning to end, the video has endless "sun" symbolism because Taeyang ultimately is "sun". The dancing is hip hop/ R&B which has always been a forte of Taeyang's. Finally the song...yes at the beginning it does have a GD feel but that's because he wrote it. Taeyang makes it very much his own. Taeyang raps? Well he's just returning to his roots. Enjoy the video and stop finding things to complain about.
