Guys, Taeyeon is an amazing singer and is one of the best in the Kpop industry. But not ALL of her performances are going to be perfect. She was very sick, tired, and worked out here... If you guys can't tell. Plus, Hwanghee was the one who messed up in "Like a Star." The song was lowered from the original key, the key that fits Taeyeon more. But they lowered the key for Hwanghee. Anyhow, just listen to her other love performances. She's a powerful and talented singer. But just because some performances aren't exactly great, that doesn't mean that she's bad.

well being hardcore fans who have listened to our idols sing for YEARS, we are familiar with our idol's voice. We will know something is wrong with them if they sound even a slight different. For example, if they sound deeper/huskier , it must mean that they have been using too much of their voice or they are sick. In addition, we are able to look at their facial expression and learn if they are tired .Also, fans will try to learn about their idol's schedule and catch up with every performance.If their scehdule are awefully packed, there is no doubt idols will be tired and eventually sick (they are humans too ) and Thats how we know:) We Fans, are part time detectives >:)

LMAO. Are people honestly blaming Taeyeon for "ruining" other people's voices? I can't even begin to comprehend. *tears* I'm not sure if I'm speaking for myself, but I was honestly really looking forward to her duet with Hwanhee. Two people with beautiful voices - what could be better, right? It was just awfully unfortunate that he wasn't well, and even apologized for doing such a poor job in the performance. The song was obviously at a lower key than the original, if one had an ear that is. And whether it was done to suit Hwanhee's key or so that he had more of a chance to reach the higher notes whilst ill, we may never know. Also, apparently they didn't get much time to practice the songs together (Taeyeon having skipped the red carpet presumably to continue practicing). So will certain ppl get their head along with their ears out of their asses and stop blaming Taeyeon for an overall, poorly executed performance. Side note: by the way, not sure what ppl are hearing, but I thought Breathe was a lovely performance.

it's so strange to see people keep saying that taeyeon's voice doesn't suit the songs come on, how can her voice not suiting the songs? she's the original singer!!! these songs are her songs to bash the performance, it should be those two males' voices do not harmonize with taeyeon's voice very well the first male's voice does not match taeyeon's voice and i think jonghyun does so much better the second male cannot hit all the high notes obviously and that's why taeyeon needs to lower the key and sings the male parts and this makes the male overpower her the one obviously does it so much better people saying that taeyeon's voice is not powerful enough, please check out what is the original song like and you'll find out that she did so much better, not to mention that she was really really young when she sang like a star with the one back then :)

Hwanhee was not feeling well that day. His voice was in a bad condition. Hwanhee is actually a legendary R&B singer in Kpop. Called as one of the best. I'm surprised that new Kpop fans don't know him. And in my opinion their voices don't match well together. It's not anyone's fault here. Hwanhee is too much of a power-vocal compared to Tae.

Oh my god will you please stop blaming Taeyeon? It's not her, but it's the blending. they didn't got a good blending for each voices. Stop saying that Taetae rubued everything. Just for you to know, both Chen and Taeyeon are original sinhers for Breath. but Chen's is Chinese ver. plus both have high pitched voice when comes to chorus. well i won't deny that i'm a Baekhyun shipper lol but i really think aside from Jonghyun, Baekhyun, Kangta, or Kyuhyun could best fit Taeyeon's voice tone. :/ The same with Like the Stars, Taeyeon originally sang it too with his mentor The One and it sounds really amazing compared with this collab. They blended a high to high voice so instead of a collaboration stage, it sounded more of a highest note contest instead of a duet.
