I agree with you. I wish it was longer but it serves its purpose as a pre-release. It leaves me wanting more, and makes me excited for the new album. My expectations are high but she did it to herself by releasing great music 😅😅.

It was short purposely. The MV finishes at a short of cliffhanger. Everything Tae does is purposeful 😭😭

I said the same thing about the length of the song. These 2 minute and a half songs are my new nemesis especially with Taeyeon. A Taeyeon song without a bridge should be illegal but it was a fun song, she looks great and I love to see and smiling expressive Taeyeon, she’s always going to sing, leaves me wondering what her full album is going to sound like. I see that look in your eyes when she comes out dancing and I know it so well because I had that same reaction too. It's the look of just watching Taeyeon have fun. Over the years, I've observed this sense of calm and restraint from her (when performing and in her MVs), which to me is part of her charm. She is so charming without having to do much. So when I see her having fun and enjoying the choreo, I can't help but SMILE! I loved this song and wished it was longer obviously, but it just goes to show that Taeyeon is truly an ace. There is no genre that she can't do. This song was definitely in her vocal wheelhouse and I felt like she sounded really comfortable singing it. My god it should have been longer! My intro to kpop was in 2009, the release of sj’s sorry sorry and especially gg’s gee put me on the kpop train. My fav turned to yoona with the release of genie, but at the end of the day, taeyeon will always be the ultimate bias for me in this industry. Every time she comes back I’m reminded of why I fell in love with her as an idol. Even her shorter releases are pure magic and talent and I hope she is around for many many years to come! Thank you for loving her as much, if not more:)

It didn’t do so hot, but I personally enjoyed it a lot lol short song but she does so much vocally. Kind of feels like how weekend was for INVU, hoping her next album is just as iconic as INVU 😂

yes the full album is expected since it's been two years since INVU but the single wasn't something unexpected either since she actually has this pattern of album - single - album - single with the album being a mini or full albums, and I'm not referring to pre release, like pure single album which somehow will be included in the album later on just so people can listen to the songs from the single album from the CD too I guess, like in the next several months, unlike pre release..simply put it's expected for Taeyeon to be releasing music here and there, at one point she collaborated on someone's song and her releasing ost were also something common 😂 we can't trust SM quarterly plan on their artists releases but we can trust everytime Taeyeon goes MIA she's cooking something

YOURE NASTY FOR THIS HDHSHHSHA. You know what her technique fascinates me cos even she does belt her heart out there’s still a sense of restraint and connectedness which helps her push her chest notes a lil higher but even in the lower notes she still maintains the same technique so it’s more balanced. I saw this in her evolution video. She’s sitting in her mezzo truth!!
