Taeyeon's famous for singing ballads. but she has songs over many different genres. i would recommend "baram x3" or "stress" for a more fun/upbeat performance. i would also recommend you watch some of her live performances on the show "begin again 3" though i would say that all of her concert performances are top quality. my absolute favorite Taeyeon songs are "four seasons" ""gravity" "vanilla" and "wine"

It really took a toll on her coz Jonghyun is like a brother to her, then another SM artist, f(x) Sulli last October 2019 whom she treated like her little sister/daughter then her friend KARA's Goo Hara last November 2019 (Hara got really affected by Sulli's death, coz they're really bestfriends) and last year the most heartbreaking part when her dad passed away on her birthday. He had a heart attacked in the morning. 😭 She was supposed to release her new song "Happy" that day. Less than 2 months later her grandmother passed away too.

Not to mention the hate she got when she was active as a member of SNSD, she was blamed for almost every scandal about SNSD, she was traumatized by almost being kidnapped ON STAGE, all things with Wiz Khalifa, that one time the antifan come to TTS's fanmeet just to insult her, a lot of her own 'fans' blamed her for what happened to Jessica, the hate she got just because she's DATING and she has to apologized publicly for being in relationship 😭 Our leader has been through a lot and I'm glad she's doing so much better lately

taeyeon is an absolute gem! i've always been really touched by how much she loves music and performing. she's actually a really shy and reserved person, which is why her concert stages are so much better than her music show/award show performances (which is CRAZY since music shows & award shows have prerecorded vocals and her concert ones are completely live with a live band to boot). you can really tell when she's comfortable (when she's performing for fans) because it shows 100% in her stage. nevertheless, she's always been amazing, ever since her debut in 2007. i remember her saying that there's nothing besides singing that she can do well so she just sticks to being a singer instead of venturing into acting and other things (even the variety show she's on rn is about songs). she still regularly takes vocal lessons despite being at the top of the kpop scene vocally (and sales-wise as a solo artist, along with iu). she's just very, very sincere about singing and performing and the passion she has for it has never once died down even after 14 years of being a singer. i love her.

So when I was first getting into kpop, I was super into EXO and Baekhyun was my bias so when the news about Baekhyun and Taeyeon dating came out, I was super curious who Taeyeon was and decided to look up who she was... that was the first time I ever really paid attention to Taeyeon and omg... I fell in love lol. Her voice was just on another level and the way she managed to convey such deep emotions through just her voice and singing alone just blew me away. And to top it all off, she was just so cute and loveable, I could totally see why anyone would fall for her. Since then, Taeyeon has been one of my most favorite artists and I don't think that's ever gonna change haha. I personally love the song 11:11 the most, there's just something about the song and her voice that just feels so comforting. Thanks for the reaction, loved it as always!

태연은 15-18년은 굉장 힘든 시기였음. 건강악화로 비염에 걸렸고 친한 가수가 죽었음. 일본 콘서트 중에 울었는데 결국에는 노래 부르던 도중에 중단하는 사태까지 갔음. 지금은 몸도 마음도 건강해 보여서 좋음.
