The way she sings FINE always makes me feel the sadness she tries to convey there. Taeng is that singer who makes any song given to her her own songs even though she is not the one writing them. Her ability to convey the emotion of the songs is on another level. She's a story teller, but through her singing voice. You do not have to see her face while she sings to feel the emotion she's trying to convey. Her voice itself is already expressive. Her control is amazing. And I'm not only talking about ballad and sad songs. She's one of a kind, really. I don't know when I will ever have another favorite female singer if she quits singing.

When I'm feeling blue, I put Taeyeon songs to get up and shower, get up and going outside. Because of Taeyeon I started going to a psychologist. She's literally saving my life. Whenever i saw her perform "I" on her live tours, whenever she sang "my life is a beauty", her face cracked for a second and she became very sad. These words must have felt painfully ironic to her for what she was going through at that time.
