The lyrics is very sexy but meaningful to “capture rose life” and how other one is so promised to sacrifice his life to be with her and never leave her alone(she is alone cause world is hating her because she has throne) but he will accept those throne for her even though it cause wound to him. Seulgi shared a little backstory for this song: She was actually there working on a different song but SQUAR (the one who arranged this song) was playing notes on the piano to what would be a part of Rose's melody, Seulgi and Taeyong hummed along and they were like 'Oh, this is actually good?' So they continued working on it (Seulgi created the lyrics and melody to her own parts) and boom we have the best chart-topping collab song that never was! Anyway, I am so thankful to Taeyong for giving Seulgi an opportunity to write lyrics and compose for the first time, and even more thankful that it was for a song this good!
