Big Thanks to you Graeme for all your hard work. You.inspire me. Hope I can be as fit and active as you when I'm your age. Like you say, you have to push yourself. 25 years in Sussex and Hampshire, fishing the Itchen and lakes. I grew up watching Jack Hargreaves. Now in San Diego Ca, a new fishing adventure.

Graeme how are you getting this kind of weather when you are only a hop skip and a jump away, it's raining cats and dogs over in Ireland and it might aswell be Siberia with the temperatures, but alas it won't stop me, I'm going out tonight in search of congers, probably will only catch pneumonia but that's the nature of the game I suppose and none the less I'll get to watch another cracking video of yours when I get home, splendid, all the best!.

Whzt great fun! Thank you Graeme. These are my favourite of all the fishing videos you do. Quite a selection of fish even on a poor day. Enjoyed watching. A little worrying watching you getting to the foredeck to tend to you anchor. I have a hatch at the front the cabin I run a rope from the mud weight over the stem head roller and right back to a clam cleat on the console with spare rope in a bucket next to it, so i just let it go when I'm over the exact spot. It's only the broads of course but a soaking this time of year isn't going to be nice.

We used to make paternosters like that but shaped it like a triangle by the line and twisting a small loop on the line side of the triangle allowed us to twist the line round it 3 times to hold it in place. Saved cutting & tying the line and you could adjust the depth if it didn't work.

You have definitely gotten some miles on those shimano tlds. Oldies but goodies. That is the rental reel of choice for the local public charter boats here. Some lady on vacation landed a a #50 lb white sea bass on the $10 dollar rental rod/tld loaded with #25 pound line. Funny to see some of the local guys get upset.

A really good episode Graeme. Quality editing mate. Careful now. If you get too slick at this stuff, you'll have award ceremonies and chat shows, eating into your fishing time. At least the paparazzi will be able to help you push your boat down the slip ;) Tight lines mate. :)

Hey Graeme, when are you going to do some GoPro video on the bottom of where you are fishing so we can understand more of the environment the fish live in you are catching. On a simple setup you can get good footage 100ft and deeper from the surface. Enjoy your videos..

when I was in the market for a trailable angling boat I turned down a aluminium hull because like you I hate the hull slap, so what did I do, I bought a Wilson, good choice, not, for the hull noise that is, but just a suggestion which worked for me, I was given a lovely as new carpet for the living room, but before the mrs could see it I cut it to shape and gorilla glued about three layers to the bow sections, (inside the boat smith), it now is toll able, just a thought.

Another great video Graham. Female cuckoo wrasse 100%. Also agree with you about the mouth shape of the undulate ray. When I work for a public aquarium I notice they are more agressive feeders than say thornback or blonde ray, in that they really pounce on a bait instead of manoeuvring their mouth over a bait. Oh and by the way was a red gurnard.

Yes,there are always a few that get caught during our summer...say June to end of September. They can be very fickle though ,not like catching lots of Blues and Porbeagle. More of a solitary hunter I feel.

Graeme, brilliant as ever, why have you not set your anchor rope up on a pulley, so that you can launch and retreive the anchor from the cockpit. Next time your out with mike jump off the front and then try getting back in on your own. its difficult if your young n fit. I certainly dont want to hear something awful has gone on.
