The repetition was so helpful. I usually end up replaying tutorials many times until I actually get it, but you demonstrating so many examples made it so I don't have to.

I see a lot of players rotating "towards" the opening to get their t-spins a lot. Like you put an edge into the bottom portion and then rotated it into position. Guys like Wumbo and TaiyouAmemiya will have it so it rotates into the spot. Is there any advantage/difference to doing it one way or the other?

Tetris, when I played it back on my OG Gameboy, was about clearing lines and Tetris' and a t-spin didn't exist. Even when it became a thing, it was mostly a neat survival trick if you fucked up placing pieces. I honestly think it gives too much garbage for how easy they are.

BEST T-SPIN TUTORIAL ON KZbin!!!!
@Inspirator_AG1125 жыл бұрын
I started using a double well on the very left of the board. Here is what each piece does when inserted into the double well. 1×4/ 'I'/ LINE PIECE It will give you a Tetris. It will never damage the slot because it is symmetrical. 2×2/ 'O'/ SQUARE PIECE It will give a Double. It will never damage the slot because it is symmetrical. 'J' PIECE (-Blue piece when oriented narrow) If oriented to look like a 'Г' or an 'r', it will give a triple. If oriented the look like a 'J', it will give a Single. It will never damage the slot. 'L' PIECE (-Orange piece when oriented narrow) It will only give a Single. If oriented to look like a '7', keep the slot intact. If oriented the look like an 'L', it will damage the slot, so I try to avoid this orientation. 'S' PIECE It will only give a Single. Because it is point symmetrical, it will always damage the slot. 'T' PIECE It has a similar effect to the 'L' Piece except you get a Double when oriented pointing right. If the slot is 3-wide anywhere though, you can get T-Spins. 'Z' PIECE It will give a Double. Because it is point symmetrical, it will never damage the slot.
