My least favorite review by drac, when he did the sledge fire. He couldn't figure out that the shells didn't eject completely because he kept turning it every time he reloaded. God that was painful. He kept complaining about it too. And yes, I'm still salty about that review.

I feel like the difference between the Vigilon and the Fusefire is fast firing with faster "long reloads" vs slower firing with faster "short reloads". By "long reload" I mean going from empty to full mag, which is easier on the Vigilon because you can stuff a stack of 5 discs into the magazine all at once, while the Fusefire is much better at topping off the magazine on the fly. The Vigilon can also hold one more disk and almost never jams, but it doesn't have the additional steps of the Fusefire, and it looks ugly as hell compared to its newer cousin.

Simple idea, get rid of the Zombie Strike or Doomlands line for a remastered (and hopefully not terrible) Vortex line, with new blasters, the return of the "art deco" variants, and just the ammo type in general.

I bought two Fusefires during a 50% sale at TRU. Knowing what I do now, I'm glad I didn't buy at full price. The rear-loading mechanism is slow and pinches my fingers... And no, I never even saw that clumsy Drac video until now. Go figure. I donated one of these and the recipient (who is younger and whose fingers are much smaller) is very happy. As for myself, I prefer my Praxes (plural, hehe), Pyragons and also Vigilon. In any case, thanks for your entertaining and passionate video. :-)

Nice to see someone else agrees that editing is needed in videos like this. While I do watch some of his stuff, Drac's lack of editing in the interest of streamlining the video for the user has started to irk me recently... interesting for seeing first impressions, not so great when I just want a review of something that's already out on shelves. Good review! The disk shooters were underrated and some of my favorite blasters out there. I've never owned a FuseFire but do own several others. VERY cool engineering, agreed! I hope some other company takes up disk style shooting where Nerf left off. I am totally becoming a BoomCo fanboy, lately.

I actually picked up a damaged pair while thrifting. I liked the loading/firing mechanism and my plan was to tie the 2 fusefires by the pull so as to reload by stretching my arms out in opposite directions. They work pretty well I also found a nitron but no magazine for it yet.

This video made me want this blaster for years. Recently, i finally got one at a sale run by the local nerf group -- after missing my chance at the previous sale by the same group. I was so happy to pick one up! Fusefire is a great blaster, even in 2020. Precursor to the Infinus in the form of Vortex.

I used to use Vortex blasters all the the time at dart wars. (I used to live in Washington, but the I moved to Canada) And 3 things went wrong at once. 1. Vortex is canceled 2. I moved away from dart wars, because here in canada, we only have laser tag arenas. (Atleast in my part anyway) 3. I made a WHOLE ENTIRE Aaron Esser comment section butthurt (Which isnt really a bad thing.)

Fusefire essentially revived my opinion of Vortex. At least of pistols. I see no reason to own any of the others. A few months ago I thrifted one that apparently has a broken or removed lock, because if you re-prime it while loaded, it drops the previously loaded disc out the barrel. Not horrible, but strange.

It's a shame the gun itself doesn't fire well at all if the discs are more than a little used. bought one and it jammed almost every time I tried to fire it with only one in the chamber and one in the pre-chamber.
