I bought an automatic and took it back for a battery operated one. The automatics don't keep very good time. TAG claims to lose 3-4 minutes a week is within specification for their auto watches. That's 15 mintues a month! That's should be unacceptable for an expensive higher end watch. Hopefully, this helps, as I learned the hard way.

@knibbsy77 Ah cheers mate, im still wearing the watch every day and no problems at all with it, comfy as ever and great weight. Not just the watches weight but the strap too - if anyones thinking about purchasing a Tag i highly recommend picking up a link model to test the feel because for me the aquaracers strap felt so flimsy in comparison like a £20 watch not £600+.

I have the chronograph model myself. love those watches. Mine is getting worked on as we speak. Needed a new bracelet. Can't wait to get it back.

It does indeed, thanks a lot. I had one more question as well (looking to pounce on one of these soon). Could you tell me the model # of the bracelet itself? Usually it's located where the clasp is. I believe it's BA0550 but can you confirm? Thanks again!

Great review, I really like the watch, like you I prefer a more basic dial. I do prefer an automatic to a quartz though. Shame there aren't more reviews like yours online. Cheers

@rishibawa WT111-0 hope that helps, I love the brushed steel effect, iv seen a few others and I prefer the brushed steel it gives it an alien feel :)
