Hello teacher, tengo varias preguntitas: 🔸¿"Apartment down" qué significa exactamente? 🔸¿"Pre-law" significa "estudiando derecho", o solo "derecho"? 🔸¿es lo mismo decir "you did bring" que "you brought"? 🔸¿porque para decir "el mes pasado", usted escribe "just last month", y no "the last month" ? 🔸¿ porqué a "you fellows" se traduce como " ustedes", y no "ustedes compañeros"? Web Inglés en el minuto 7:21 dice you did bring usa el did para expresar pasado. porq no usa el bring en pasado en vez del did?

Cuando el verbo en la frase tiene un auxiliar, el verbo queda en la forma base. La persona podría haber dicho: You brought the money, didn't you? con bring en pasado, pero optó por el uso del auxiliar "did", para énfasis.

A question ... The pronunciation of negative and positive tag are the same? Because if I remember correctly i had a teacher that told me the pronuciation it's not the same and positive has an intonation in the pronoun then negative has intonation in the auxiliar

It doesn't matter if the tag is negative or positive. Most often the intonation is on the verb/auxiliary. Sometimes the tag will be more like a question, when the speaker is unsure of the response. In those cases the intonation will be more on the pronoun - like in the example: But that's good news, isn't it? The speaker is asking for a response? Is it good news?

Since your English is obviously already quite fluent, I don't think you will mind if I help you "fine tune" it a little. In your question, the subject is "the pronunciation", so the verb should be "is". Since it is a question with "to be", the subject and verb are inverted. "Is the pronunciation (of negative and positive tags) the same?"

Hola me mata el connected speech. ¿Puede ser que en "that you're" se cambia la "t" por "ch" porque suena como "dachiuar"? Por favor profesora haga videos de CONNECTED SPEECH, para conocer cuando CAMBIAN O SE ELIMINAN SONIDOS, lo digo por esas palabras como did you, them her, for him, etc etc etc. Saludos

Es común pronunciar YOU con una CH cuando sigue a una palabra que termina con D o T. Eso puede crear problems para entender, pero no para hablar, porque es mejor no usar esa pronunciación. Sin embargo, sería bueno un video sobre eso. Gracias por la sugerencia! Un abrazo! Bárbara
