It's an effort to try and make the game more inclusive for young girls, different cultural backgrounds etc. Merry Christmas.

@@jken8892 and the girls in the video? and the kids with Indo fijian heritage? A lot of us were fortunate to grow up around it, be surrounded by it and have an opportunity to compete in it ... but when i was working on this video i got to see a whole other side of fiji that wasn't included and were finally getting the opportunity to participate competitively. Happy New Year.

@@DaveLavakiGRIN girls?? U should go around schools at lunch nd recess to see them play rugby with boys. Also in their small backyard at their homes. It's that the FRU not realizing this .They are already into rugby they just don't have a competition like kaji rugby. Indo Fijian and other ethnic groups this is for them.

Jst look at the Fijiana team. Majority of them are from other sports. They jump ship at the very first opportunity including the national netball captain... They are already Into rugby ,there is just no pathway from grassroots to elite competition . What needs to be done is for the FRU to increase its coaching pool to cater for girls from primary to national level.
