I do think the TAG slabs look the best. But like you said no company is perfect, I just ran across a PSA 9 corocoro mew with a 1inch crease running alongthe back, crazy stuff! So like you said, we need to be the experts. I do verify I'm satisfied with the grade before purchasing any slabs from PSA, BGS or CGC.

Thank you for making this video! And you're right, most of us would help CGC with any Naruto CCG questions just so they get stuff right. Heck, I reached out and offered to help CGC twice now with Naruto (once after they got all the sets wrong, and then after these proxy cards were graded), no response from them lol.

Thanks for covering the fake Naruto cards. After I spoke with the cgc vp, the ebay listing did get ended. I’m glad it got taken down. Hopefully cgc voids those certs.

Mannn, I gotta say, I was really rooting for TAG and thought their process seemed near flawless. They boasted the fact that it would catch things such as dings and dents… reminds you that there’s still room for a grading company with actual intentions of a true unbiased system to out perform the big 3.. the idea was there with TAG but they’ve shown more interest in doing numbers then actually delivering on the assurances they gave us in their really nicely done promotional content 😂 Apparently all you gotta do to have a successful business model is be really good at making content and promises you don’t plan on keeping

@@RattlePokemon It is heavily automated and they allow the machine to pump out the grades with algorithms. It is not AI, but just a series of scans and algorithms that obviously have trouble with 3-D analysis.

I bought a mystery slab from kraken. it was an 8.5 ekans 2007 i think? delta species. paid 19 bucks for a mystery dip. I actually didnt hate the slab. it could have been alot worse lol. so im talking about my slab in chat and I was about to be like hey kraken aint that bad. they given the omegas at 19-normally 35 but then they literally banned me. out of no where. lol. like they werent even looking bad at the time but they know theyre product is so sketchy that guilt bubbled up and they banned me

For me personally, I prefer SGC, you might disagree with me or you may agree with me, I just think SGC has some of the best prices, the best turnaround time, and a very accurate grading system, the only thing I wish they would bring back is the $9 submit charge per card, but all in all it's A very good grading company if you're looking to get into grading for the first time, now again this is just my opinion so you might find something you agree with you may find something you don't agree with.

I might be wrong as I’ve always been a psa card collector since 2019. I do find that psa card hold value of the card better than cgc. Just a low value cards collector here. :)

I like the look of TAG slabs. I like the idea of AI grading. I like it better than PSA’s subjective grading. Do I own any TAG slabs? No. Do I plan on grading with them? No. The two companies I will recommend to people are PSA and ARS. I hate almost everything about PSA, but it is the grading company everyone wants. And ARS feels like an actually quality product.

TAG should consider free submissions for a couple years to train the machines. I was under the assumption they trained it off prior to opening using like bulk collections they acquired. Grading scale is wonky, I watched Green's video with the pen pit and binder ding get like a 9 and an 8. I personally disagree with TAGs assessment there, but others may not. I still believe its a path in the right direction, removing the human subjective factor and errors is key. The scans are definitely better than what other grading companies are offering. I ain't gonna knock em for trying to improve the grading industry. I'm just leave personal opinions and takes in comment sections, maybe they'll read it. No, I do not have a vested interest. Just looking at it objectively.

I think it because there have been people who sent to PSA got PSA 5s, cracked and submitted them again, and got PSA 10s. You can upgrade/update a system/program. You can't upgrade a lazy employee making minimum wage who is having a bad day. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Zion magpro cases are beautiful as well and you can buy them for $2/$3 and make your own labels. I use them for cards under $50 and I use CGC for cards over $50 for my PC. CGC is $8.80 for me and I don't really care what the grade is.

Why are there limits, if you were at a show, you can only do 12 checks and your day done what a joke. CGC shouldn't have gotten in the game of grading cards and their video are a joke showing their process.

this is... an interesting take... wrong, but interesting. PSA is the junk slab company now - especially in the sports card world. TAG is probably the most fair and most consistent. I'm sure all companies make mistakes, but TAG and SGC are the best we have right now (at least until PSA ruins SGC). But yeah, does seem like TAG messed that one up. Also, I wonder if TAG has issues with trading cards compared to sports cards as i have yet to see their sports card grading mess up as bad as the examples shown here with the TCG cards.

This is also why people condemn anyone from suggesting a new grading company like TAG that tried to improve the grading process. Way too many people would lose money if the market shifted away from PSA.

New grading companys want a piece of the pie thats all but at the end of the day the card is in a plastic slab like the rest. im collecting the card not the plastic i want a pack fresh card and i trust psa more then others if im going to spend 100's on a card.

A cgc pristine 10 is a psa 8.5😂or a bgs 9-9.5😂, and people are out here faking psa slabs. Some advice to make sure your psa is real, put a black light across the top red line( you should see a line going through the red line, also bottom of the psa card has a breather hole right in the middle bottom 🎉. I got 2 fakes in the past month out of 10😢

TAG did their job. They gave a card a 10 and the seller can get more money for it. Less 10's, the less someone will use TAG's service.

People don't want 10s that are obviously not 10s. Even if the seller of this card is happy to get more for it, the buyer is gonna be upset and/or will return it.

@@RattlePokemon Yup, but the person grading a selling does. The grading companies want to satisfy the seller and not the buyer. Most people buy 10's and won't even look at the card inside. Unfortunately that is our hobby today.
