The story in brief:
Carla goes to university in New York, where she meets Tara Carpenter and joins her group of friends. Ethan Landry immediately sets his eyes on Carla and starts to like her, but never dares to initiate. It later turns out that Carla's mother used to know Ethan's father, who liked her, but Carla's mother never wanted anything to do with the detective.
Carla meets Ghostface more and more often, but he never tries to kill her, always just wounds her a little. After Ethan realizes that Carla can never be his, he exposes himself in Act 3 and tries to kill her.
